The War Store

Fantastic staff! Marc was extremely helpful, pleasant and spent more time with me than anyone else ever has (or would) on selecting AK accessories. Great selection, location and atmosphere. I would HIGHLY recommend a visit to anyone!

The service here is top notch. The atmosphere is generally relaxed, and the guys are more than willing to show you the new gear that has come in that week, be it tactical equipment, firearms, or accessories in between. They helped me with my first rifle build and I end up stopping by the shop regularly just to shoot the breeze with them.

The people here are approachable, friendly, and professional. I came in to have my rifle cleaned and they did an excellent job! They even introduced me to the guy who cleaned my rifle whom I found out was a marine. They have a good selection of items that you might have come across doing research online, from molles and outdoor gear to firearms and bolt-​ons. The prices are competitive with what I found online and what they don’t have they tell me they can order. I like how this place is a breath of fresh air compared to somewhere the typical grandfather goes to. After talking to these folks I got an understanding that their philosophy of a shop is to educate and teach and not to look down and make fun of people who are new to this stuff. I even witnessed a young boy being treated professionally when he came in looking for gear for his Airsoft gun role game play. As the newer generation are getting into this stuff and pretty much changing the game in this industry, it’s good to see that a shop like this can keep up with the changes and that’s why I’ll be coming back.

First of all get all of your preconceived ideas out of your head about what you think this store might be. It’s got good equipment at a fair price run by hard workers. It’s hard to find small businesses like this that have the attention to detail on tactical equipment like the War Store. I’d much rather shop here than at a gun show where the vendor will be gone and out of sight in 48 hours. The atmosphere is relaxing and there’s always interesting conversation in the store. They are always willing to find the right product for you or steer you in the right direction.
