Richmond Vapes

I’ve been vaping for a number of years, and I’ve seen the progression both in devices and in culture. The selection here for mods and hardware is decent, but not great. The prices are about average for a brick and mortar store. The juice selection is so so. They offer a decent selection of juice, and the price is again, about average.
The employees… very much a mixed bag. There are a couple, including the owner, who can come across as a little arrogant. I’m not saying they don’t know their product, because overall they do; the way that it’s presented could use some work. The other employees are again, mostly average. Nice enough, and they know enough to be helpful. Overall, average.
The shop itself is where it goes downhill. Everything feels haphazard and vaguely temporary, from the clearance area on a table with a cheap plastic cover to the generic paint scheme to the typical behind counter storage. They have samples out, but the only place to sit is in the back, in an area that feels mostly like an employee lounge where you aren’t necessarily welcomed. The glass table definitely could use cleaning, and the couch smells a bit funny. It also resembles another black leather couch that’s quite well known, and actually looks like it could indeed be a place where it became famous. There is a TV, but again it feels strange to be back there, like intruding on an employees lounge.
Overall, not bad. It seems every time I go, though, there are some technical difficulties. The POS system has gone down multiple times and the power has even been completely out when adjacent shops were up and running. It feels like the passion and welcoming atmosphere are missing, however they do have a decent selection of product, including for the very beginners which is nice. I would go back in a pinch, but not a place I would actively seek out.

Extremely great service. Went in to buy a drip tip and and some juice. ended up learning about ALL the flavors I would possibly want. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely return. There is a punch card where you receive a free bottle of juice after 10 items. Also the discount table is a VERY GOOD deal, $ 50 atomizers/​tanks for only $ 15 insane.

I just left this vape store extremely satisfied! The gentlemen that helped me was very informative and attentive! Not to mention… I Love the vape he helped me purchase.

I’ve been vaping for a little over a year now. My experience was primarily with the Vape Pen style starter kit. Mostly I visited the local Vape shops for juices and purchased my tanks etc. online. That won’t be happening anymore. These guys ROCK! I purchased a pipe mod from online and went in looking for a few goodies. These guys were super patient explaining what I needed and why what worked how. I ended up buying a much nicer pipe mod and returned my online purchase. Richmond Vapes is where I’ll be getting all my vaping products.

Chris and Josh and the rest of the staff here are super helpful with novices (like me) and experienced vape enthusiasts alike. Their selection of equipment ranges from beginner setups to more advanced mods like drippers. The selection of juice will keep you never feeling that you’re missing out on the next great flavor or combo. The atmosphere is really laid back and they know how to make you feel comfortable whether you’re making a purchase or just hanging out and checking out the wares. To me, the best part of this particular vape shop is the lack of any arrogance or elitist attitude toward the customers. This reflects in the regulars who frequent Richmond Vapes as well. On several occasions, while stopping by just to pick up a new flavor or a fresh bottle of an old and trusted variety, one or two of the other customers at the store have taken the time to educate me on the pros and cons of different mods and the intricacies of the technology involved. I followed these guys when they moved locations and will continue to be loyal to them when it comes to my vaping needs. Go check them out today!
