I go to a pizza place and eat subs. I’ve eaten at Tony’s when I’m in Herkimer for the past 8 years. It’s a family establishment, neat, clean, and the food is great. My favorite is the steak and cheese sub with onions, peppers and mushrooms, can’t beat it.

It really doesn’t get better than Tony’s. Fast, fresh, consistent, inexpensive. I’ve been eating here since 1984 and I live 3,000 miles away. I’m originally from the area but travel extensively. Given the MANY options for pizza in the valley, Tony’s is my favorite.

Recently went back here, and it was horrible. Under new management, and they completely changed the ingredients and style of their pizza. It was worse than frozen. I am so sad to see my old favorite go down the tubes. It’s true, you really can’t go back!

Stopped here on drive home to Buffalo from Albany, It was a little expensive for 2 slices of pizza and a soda, and the food was just okay. Very greasy. I probably wouldn’t eat here if I lived in the area.

I have to say i’m a fan of Tony’s. It’s a staple in the valley and as I grew up there and lived there 14 years, I think I know what i’m talking about: P Last time I was home visiting, I brought my fiancé (who has never had NY pizza) and he was really into it. He almost ate half the pizza by himself! The prices are awesome and the food is just as good. I would recommend anyone go to Tony’s!

The pizza here is awful. there are far better places in herkimer to pick from. the pizza is greasy and mostly dough.
