While checking out the shops during the day we found the Bank Bar.
Noting the chalkboard sign in the window stated they open at 4 on Thursdays and Fridays. We planned to return.
Arrived just before five on Thursday for some pre-​dinner cocktails and they were closed.
Here is an idea… if you cannot honor your hours do not post them.

Smoke free and amazing drinks! No TVs to distract your husbands… Very relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed these drinks much better than the wines. Had a delicious Colorado bulldog.

Eureka, MO
Came here on a weekend get away with my boyfriend. We were looking for a place that had a little more energy than some of the restaurants in town.
We sat at the bar for several hours talking with the staff and owner behind the bar. Everyone was incredibly nice and eagerly offering advice about what to do while in town.
I had the salted caramel martini. You could tell their was great attention to detail with a sea salted caramel garnished on the glass and the taste was as good as the presentation.
I highly recommend adding The Bank Bar to your list of things to do in Hermann Mo!

This place is now owned by a couple that is actually doing the bar tending! Very cute couple and very nice bar. They are very outgoing, friendly, and offer great local advice!

The best martini bars in St. Louis (Baileys Chocolate Bar, Sanctuaria, Absolutil Goosed, Sub Zero) don’t charge $ 12 for a martini, so I was shocked to be charged that much at a tiny place in Hermann, MO, for a martini mixed with non-​alcoholic «filler.» I expect to pay more for a good drink, but the prices here are not in line.

This is a great bar… they have a huge selection of drinks and the ambiance feels very swanky. They have some rarer beer selections and some very unique martinis. If you’re in Hermann, MO looking for a nice bar to go relax at, I definitely suggest it. If you’re looking for a beer-​and-​peanuts/​jukebox/​darts kinda dive bar (which, let’s face it, all of us are looking for at some point or another) this place is not going to fit. But if you’re looking for a place to have a nice drink in a satisfyingly dimly-​lit atmosphere, this is your place.

Nice place, good drinks. But they don’t really have food. Just some frozen pizzas. Which is not good when your drinking martinis. Needed something more substantial. Big plus though is its the only smoke-​free bar in Hermann.
