BUYERBEWARE: They will lie to your face and tell you that if your gift recipient does not like their gift you can bring it back for a refund. They put a merchant receipt in the bag which not only does not list their return policy, but also has no product information listed either. When my recipient told me to return the gift I did so 14 days after purchase with the receipt I was given. They will not give me a full refund, and they are mad at ME for having a merchant copy of the receipt. I was lied to, and given a receipt I can’t use. They claim a white coffee mug that says«One Prayer At A Time» is a Christmas item and their store policy only refunds current retail value. That would have been great to know on a receipt they SHOULD have given me! So they lied, they give you receipts you can’t use, and they have NOVALUES whatsoever. All about greed and power trips, and they will tell you whatever you want to hear in order to make money. Disgusting.

In the electronic world we live in where we can easily communicate through texts, email and social media, the lost art of writing is just that — lost. That being said, there are still some things that should be handwritten and actually sent(gasp!) through snail mail. Recent events necessitated that I send out some good, old fashioned thank you cards. I could have grabbed a generic batch at my local grocery but instead I buzzed by my local Hallmark store(yes, they still exist) to grab some so I could get a move on sending them in out in a timely manner. There is literally curbside parking at this location which was a bonus since it was drizzling when I was running errands. Mind you, it has been eons since I have stepped foot in a Hallmark shop so I «had» to take the time to peruse the merchandise. Picture frames, collectible figurines, wine glasses, coffee mugs, wrapping paper, gift bags, ribbons, jewelry and much, much more was prominently displayed. And even though it may have been ages since I have been to such a place, it didn’t seem that way. This place was hopping. There were people all over the place and the line was three people deep at check out. I easily maneuvered my way around the place and found what I needed. The staff was friendly, the store was well laid out and my experience was good. I’m not sure when I will come across a need to visit again but I am glad I made the trip this time.
