Tuesday 9AM so no wait to be seated, a short wait for food to be brought. My wife and I ordered a Belgian waffle and a Frittata and coffee. Nothing else. Coffee was good. Food was ok but not spectacular. Frittata was small, about 5″, probably 2 eggs. Eggs probably cost a restaraunt $.30 ea so no real reason to not make them a little bigger for something that costs almost $ 9. Also on the plate was some«greens» and a small piece of crusty bread. Waffle was no different than what you would get anywhere. Butter on the waffle and a small amount of «berry sauce» on the side. Neither of us were too impressed, and I did not tell my wife how much it cost. She would have laughed. My wife is 5’2″ and 110lbs and she left there still hungry. For me, there are too may restaraunts that are like this: OK, but too pricey for what you get. Breakfast is usually the least expensive meal to eat out, as eggs and flour are not expensive. Our check was almost $ 24. Sorry, not worth the price. Flatware was spotted badly. Unappealing. Also: please DON’T hover over me after you bring my food, give me the check before I eat, or ask me to take a survey. The check, and mention of the survey should DEFINITELY come AFTER your customer finishes eating. Not for me.

First Watch is consistently the best chain breakfast option I have found. You can find a few single location local joints that beat it in «Character» but time and time again the food at First Watch is delicious and the service is top notch.

Food is good but Service is dreadfully slow. Food was brought out at separate times. Order was wrong.

This is the best breakfast in town, hands down. But this Hermitage location is terrible in terms of service. Absolutely terrible. Every time we go we wait anywhere from 15 – 20 minutes for our food, and get to spend plenty of time watching the servers gather behind the wall seperating booths from kitchen, where they _just stand and chitchat_. Nobody checks on drinks – I have NEVERONCE gotten my coke refilled, and we’ve been at least a dozen times at various times a day. Our shared carafe of water has been refilled once. If the food wasn’t so absolutely exquisite I wouldn’t go back. As it stands now we go about ½ as often as we would if they were more reliable.

This location of First Watch is decent, but not stellar. The stars they have earned: 1 for cleanliness, 1 for quality ingredients, 1 for healthy options = 3 stars Service is so-so…(–so, no star). The few times we have been here, we have reported a few less-than satisfying outcomes(food temperature being the #1 issue), to which we are met with a weak, «I’m sorry, I will „let them know…“» with no further action. Food is regularly not hot enough to melt your butter, and with today’s visit, they had the gall to serve over-cooked, to the point of dried, shriveled and hard mushrooms, tucked inside their omelettes… «S» plural. We got two omelettes, both with hard, dried mushrooms, and the broccoli was on the dry side. It wasn’t until checking out, when I answered how the meal was, and «they» were showed the picture of the mushrooms, was I heard. Over-all, the response to issues, and the care and attention to details seem to escape everyone working here. The 5th, and final star is reserved for start-to-finish outstanding experience. So, they have definitely missed that mark. I can honestly do better when I cook for myself at home. I feel a bit ripped-off by their prices, when they don’t deliver the quality for the $$

My husband and I were looking for a good place to go eat for lunch or even breakfast and we came across First Watch. The coffee is excellent… the food is excellent… everything is excellent. They make everything right on the spot. Fresh ingredients always. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced breakfast or lunch spot that also tastes amazing, go to First Watch.

UPDATE: We come here at least 1 time a week, service has gotten very slow and takes a long time for waiters to acknowledge you have been seated. Still consistently too cold in here! Seriously. Food is still good– so I’m hoping they get a bit more organized. Love the fresh food and the kale tonic. AND the temperature in here at this location is always way too cool. Please set temp for the customers not the person working the griddle

The food was really good! They place was packed and there is a bit of a wait. There was complementary coffee available while you wait. Stay members were friendly. I had the chicken tacos and banana granola pancake. I’d liked both of them. My only gripe was that the tortillas were really stiff and hard to fold. I’m not sure if they overheated them. I’d definitely eat here again.

Good Coffee, many unique breakfast choices as well as traditional offerings, $ 8. to $ 12. Not super busy on a Tuesday morning around 10: AM, but a steady stream walking in. We did enjoy and will recommend & return. They are setting up the patio outside, I’ll bet they do a great deal of lunch & dinner business. Offering Free Wifi

Every time I come here, I get pulled in more and more! What awesome food! This time I ordered the Smoked Salmon Fertitta(I got egg whites, and I can’t recall all of the ingredients but there was smoked salmon, mushrooms, cheese(a white, mellow cheese), maybe some tomatoes and onions, and a white sauce dribbled over it)…WOW! My girlfriend got the The Works omelette(Ham, bacon, sausage, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions and tomatoes with Cheddar and Monterey Jack and topped with sour cream.) …can’t say enough good about this place. Love it, love it, LOVEIT! By the way, absolutely use their«Call Ahead» service – we got seated at our appointed time in spite of a long line. Really appreciate their attention to this, even though it could anger some of those in line… they could have called ahead as we did and it makes more loyal customers of us! I’m excited for the new location in Green Hills to open — open soon!!!

My fiancé and I go here pretty much every weekend for breakfast nowadays! It’s our favorite! The servers are mostly very sweet(save a few) and try hard to make the customers happy. The food is unbelievably delicious. We always start off with a side of big buttery toast while we wait(because it can get PACKED) which comes with strawberry jam. I typically get the classic Eggs Benedict which comes with the side of greens with a light and tasty lemon dressing. If I could eat it for every meal I think I would. My darlin gets something different every time and has yet to find anything he dislikes.(I have gotten the works omelette before which was fantastic!) The prices really aren’t too bad(for the food– the drinks seem a bit overpriced, but we just take the water and some coffee.) it usually comes out to 25 for the two of us(before giving the sweet waitresses a big fat tip that they deserve for working their butts off!) We ALWAYS leave happy. I am so glad they are in the community! The other reviewers are right though– ditch that enormous line and get the app! We usually get in line in bed and have time to get dressed and take the recycling before we head that way!

Randomly found myself at this restaurant and BOOM! Really enjoyed the breakfast, modern style decorations and the fun servers! The food was delicious and the servers were great at describing their dishes and ingredients. They right their specials/menu on a large chalk board which brings a bit of colorful and fun vibe throughout the restaurant.

We called in a reservation for 4. When we arrived, the time on the reservation had expired as we were a few minutes late. They seated us at a table within 10 minutes. There were so many things on the menu that sounded good that it made it difficult to make a decision. Since everyone in the party was having breakfast, I figured I would have the old faithful, two eggs over medium, bacon, a pancake, coffee, and orange juice. Everyone else decided on a more modern type of breakfast. Our server was very nice and attentive. She brought out my coffee right away. Later she brought the orange juice, freshly squeezed… yum…yum! I had trouble hearing anyone because of the loudness of the restaurant. It seems these new restaurants do not believe in baffles to bring the noise level down to below the roar of a 787. However, I did my best to get used to it. When the food came, everyone raved about their choices. Mine was good, not great. The eggs were over easy and not medium. The pancakes were not done all the way through. The bacon was done to perfection and tasted fantastic. I went ahead and ate everything as none of it was a deal breaker since it was almost noon and I hadn’t eaten since 5:00 p.m. the night before. I would give it another try. I would probably order something like my wife and friend ordered. I felt I was stretching it to give a 4 star since I felt my food was not cooked correctly and the price was high. I will say it held me until dinner. That includes two to three hours in the mall with my wife.

I normally only review places on Unilocal when I have a bad experience, but this place was so good, that it deserves the positive review. There was about a 20 minute wait on Sunday morning, but I figure that wasn’t so bad considering it’s really the only brunch place Hermitage has to offer. The layout and inside décor is a very casual, relaxed, and comfortable atmosphere and the waitstaff are very friendly. I had the Eggs Benedict BLT which came with a side salad — both were extremely delicious. My girlfriend ordered the breakfast tacos which also looked very appetizing and she enjoyed them quite a bit. Before we ordered, we were brought a fresh pot of coffee. Though we only had one pot of coffee, we were charged for two — they don’t charge you by the pit but by the person. It’s a little confusing and looks like you are double-charged for coffee, but the manager happily took one of the charges off. I suppose normally two people ordering coffee would consume more coffee, but we shared the one pot. The prices are a little high considering the area(two brunches plus coffee will run you between $ 25 — $ 30), but the vibrant atmosphere and delicious food will definitely lure me in here again — and sooner, rather than later.

First watch has a very nice feeling to it. We went at lunch time and it was pretty packed. The wait was 20 mins. It’s different… I like the fact that we are getting new places in Hermitage. We need more variety to pick from. I met the owner. He is very kind and attentive. He offered us something to drink while we waited. The food was great. I ordered the Fruity chicken salad with was baby spinach topped with all-natural white-meat chicken salad, tomato, seasonal fruit and poppyseed dressing. My husband ordered the Cobb salad. I don’t think you can go wrong with salads. The service was fast. It didn’t take long before we had our food on the table. It did feel a little crowded. We were sitting in a 2-Person table and it felt like I was sitting with the 2 ladies sitting next to us. I could hear their conversation! Overall, it’s a pleasant place, I am sure I will come back.

One of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever been to! The clean and modern décor is beautiful. The food was so fresh and tasty! I had the bacado omelet, it was cooked perfectly and the avocados inside were not overly mushy or brown! The pico on the side paired perfectly. The iced coffee was creamy and had just enough sweetness to it. It’s nice of them on weekends when they put out complimentary coffee for those waiting for a table.

Very modern and tidy interior. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Good for groups. I was seated immediately when I came in. Ordered the, Chickichanga, which came with fruit and seasoned potatoes. I received my food in about 12 minutes. It was good! Nice portion size. The flavors where there. A good, solid meal! Good for brunch or breakfast! I’d definitely recommend trying it out!

Great concept, but execution is off. I love the menu options, but their sides are very limited. Prices are high for breakfast/brunch, and newness of staff is obvious. A decent choice for a non –fast food breakfast, but not one I would go out of my way to go. I appreciate the food quality, but I think it is just below experience in the service area.

I am glad to have another choice in my area for breakfast. Apparently so are many others because the place was packed and the line was literally out the door. The way the ceilings are in there made it quite loud as well. I had the smoked salmon benedict and it was really good and had plenty of smoked salmon on it. The portion size was definitely not skimpy. But in my mind it was a bit pricey for a breakfast that came with a side of potatoes. Service was friendly and efficient. Speaking of pricey, both the husband and I ordered iced coffee. We joyfully slurped them down and got a refill. It wasn’t until we received the check that we noticed that you get charged for each beverage. It would have been nice had we been told that ahead of time so we could decide if we wanted to pay the extra money for another drink. So in the end two entrees, four coffees plus a tip wound up being around $ 40 for breakfast. Like I said, it was good, but not anywhere near $ 40 worth of good.
