I wanted to look cool. I tried different spots for hairstyles but after leaving this spot I felt cool. I found wonderful jewelry there to buy too.
It was easy to make an appointment. Ok, it was not super easy to park.
I take the girls there now, age 13 and 14. Its our local spot on Pier. Love shopping in our community.

Phoebe is an absolutely fabulous colorist. I constantly get compliments on my hair. Many of my friends have started going to Phoebe and they love their results too. Thanks Phoebe.

Heather is the best hairstylist there is. I used to go to super cuts boy was I naïve. I always know my hair is in good hands when I leave studio 7.
They wash your hair, massage your neck/​head and of course give you a great haircut.
Never go to super cuts again. Go see heather and pay $ 35 and get a real haircut guys.

Jasmina rocks. On the advice of a friend with beautiful hair, I decided to check this place out. I reinvent my hair frequently and Jasmina has taken on each project with knowledge and creativity. She is amazing at extensions; those little buggers are TIGHT and she blends them well so that when you put your hair up, no beads show! Jasmina’s hooked me up with a pretty bob now and again and has cut edgy bangs me for me as well. She does it all. CHECK IT OUT.

Heather Kay is great! She had done my families hair at another venue and we touched base again when she went to Studio 7. Great salon right in the middle of it all. I went from blonde to light brown and was super thrilled with my new look. I have faded in the last few weeks which was expected but I’ll definitely go back to Heather. She’s great!!!

Love Studio 7! It’s glam west coast style! Jasmina is the best at style, cut, and color.

I’ve been going to Studio 7 for years to see Amanda Grip. She always does a great job on my hair and I get so many compliments! My color is rich and my curls look great. She specializes in color and cuts and always recommends great color options for me. She really loves what she does and it shows!
The salon is cozy with white washed walls and pretty crystal chandeliers. It’s a nice escape after work! Great location and easy meter parking.(very lose to the beach)

My stylist, Jessica, is the absolute best at cuts, color and highlights! At Studio 7 the stylists rent their chairs, so she’s there when she schedules herself to be there. She is so busy, she’s always at the salon with clients, whereas the other stylists seem to be there sporadically. Haircuts start at $ 60 and partial highlights start around $ 100 I think, maybe it depends on how much hair you have. I have long thick hair, so i usually spend about $ 170 for both. Jessica’s very easy to get in touch with, but I believe you’d need to visit the salon to grab her card for her contact info. She will squeeze you into her schedule last minute if you’re in a pinch too!

I should start by saying, I’m a guy and it’s not hard to cut my hair. Also, this is the first time I have ever given a review… good or bad. This one is bad.
Is there a way to give zero stars? maybe negative? This place is awful. I have been twice and have gotten the two worst haircuts of my life. I only went back because I am fair and always give people the benefit of the doubt.(big mistake) I had two different stylists… They both sucked. Any place that employs terrible stylists doesn’t deserve your money. The girl that cut my hair the second time was shaking terribly. Not sure what the owner is thinking. Enough said.

My hair came out GORGEOUS– so much thought and skill went into it. Her prices are fair and she never tries to upsell you. I really love summer and her talent. I felt like i was her only client, it was such a great experience!

I love this place there are several girls that work there that r great I have gone to 4 of them and love them all! I knew each of them before they went there and it seems that all the really good stylist are going to this Solon! How cool!

Jasmina, formerly of Salon Brit in Manhattan Beach, is back in her own salon this time on Pier Ave in Hermosa Beach. That alone should be enough to send all her former clients running there.
But I wasn’t familiar with Jasmina until she opened this new place. A friend had urged me for years to try her and I finally decided to make an appointment just days before my high school reunion. I’ve got the most difficult hair — very fine and wavy/​curly — and I’ve literally spent years trying to find someone who knows how to cut it. Rolling the dice with a new stylist a few days before my reunion could have been a disaster but instead it was a lifesaver.
Jasmina took one look at my hair, asked me a few questions and said, «this is what we need to do…» I walked out 2 hours later with the best cut I’ve had in YEARS and I have no plans on going anywhere else now. I also did color with Amanda, she’s great and has also moved there from Salon Brit. Fabulous color, highlights and a great cut. And yeah, it looked great for my reunion.
