All Around Glass

THESE GUYS DO NOT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL A WINDSHIELD. THEY TRIED TWICE ON MY TAHOE AND COULD NOT GET IT RIGHT. THEY WORK OUT OF THEIR GARAGE AND ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS. This glass service was recommended to me by the body shop that painted my Tahoe. They did the work while the truck was in the shop so I never saw them. After I got the truck home it rained one night and there was water all over my dashboard and into my CD player, which fried it. I called All Around Glass and told them about it and they said a tech would come by the next day. That day two scruffy guys in a pickup arrived at my house. I showed them the situation and they proceeded to get out window sealer and were going to put it around the outside of the windshield. I told them there were not as that is NOT the proper way to seal a windshield. Once that stuff dries out, it will leak again and it needed to be properly installed. They left. I contacted the office and told them I wanted the windshield properly installed and please do not send out these two guys to do it as they clearly do not know what they are doing. As it turns out, they are the owners. So, I agreed to bring my truck to their place to have the windshield re-​installed. I drove to Herndon expecting to find a business and found that they work out of the garage behind one of their houses. They cut out the windshield, doing considerable damage to my headliner, and put in a new one. When they took out the old one you could see a strip of about 12 inches at the top where they did not apply nearly enough sealer and there was a large gap between the sealer and the glass. With the new one installed, I went home. The first time it rained, just a sprinkle, it was at night and when the rain washed down my windshield, there were streaks as if this windshield had been sitting outside for a couple of years in the rain and had some kind of etching from top to bottom. The windshield wipers would go across it and when they did, it went from difficult to see through the streaks to nearly impossible. I have video of this. I called them and they came out and looked at it and said they say nothing wrong with it and I needed to replace my wipers. They showed me the ones on their truck and said to get those. I got those wipers, even though the ones I had were new, and it was no better. I called them again and they said I should polish the windshield with polishing compound if I did not like the streaks. The did offer to replace it again, although I did not want any further damage to my truck. So, I had to polish my windshield to get out the streaks. It did not rain hard for quite some time, but the next time I got moderate rain (again at night), I found that the carpet in my truck was wet. I could not find a leak anywhere and thought it must be my sunroof. I park on a hill so the water could run from one place to where I found it. I tried spraying water on the truck but could not find a leak. Then one day when I was driving in the rain for a while, water started dripping out from the top of the windshield through my headliner. Just to be sure it was not my sunroof, I tore out the front of the headliner, which was pretty trashed from their work anyway, so I could see if water was getting in through the sunroof and finding its way to the top of the windshield before dripping into my lap. It was not, it was the stupid windshield!!! THESE GUYS DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! DO NOT USE THEM FOR YOUR WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT!
