Do not order from here! Worst delivery ever. Placed order at 11 am. They said food would take 45 mins, no problem. Called them back after waiting an hour they said the driver had already left this was at 12:30. At 1pm the driver called and said that he would be there in 10 minutes. I informed him that I would only be at work for another 20 minutes. The driver called me at 1:40, 30 minutes after he said he would be there. I told him that I was no longer there. I called the restaurant back to ask for a refund and the lady argued with me as if it was my fault the driver couldn’t find my building after 2 and a half hours.

I agree with the other users that the butter chicken and the naan bread on the buffet is good. Service was fine. The bathroom had no toilet paper, the toilet was dirty, and the door frame surrounding the bathroom was extremely dirty. Not a place I would make a special trip to but okay if you are in the area and just driving by.

Just received an order for NY style chicken and lamb Kabob with a samosa. First of all, the food was well below par as far as Southwest Asian cookery. The chicken was a bit greasy and the«4» chucks of lamb needed more seasoning like the rice. What was annoying was that the chicken was to come with fries which were no where to be found along with the missing tandoori bread which probably would have been the best part of this meal! I would have give this a one star but I bumped it up to «2» because the delivery person was very professional.

The food from this kebab place was absolutely amazing! I tried one of the combos, and every piece from the chicken to the lamb was cooked to perfection. I definitely would come back again.

I don’t know why I didn’t think to read the reviews first before ordering from here… The food is decently priced and of a C+ quality in my opinion. B– to be sympathetic. I ordered from here for the first(and last) time because I found a brochure for their restaurant in my office kitchen commons. I was looking for delivery food that wasn’t pizza, and I didn’t have any cash on me, and I only have my discover card info memorized, so I was glad to see that they took all four major credit card types per their logos on the front of their brochure(or so I thought – gonna upload pictures upon finishing this review). It also said free delivery on the front. What a good deal(or so I thought). The ordering in itself was a hassle. For some reason, online(ordering through BeyondMenu), it says minimum $ 15 for deliver plus a $ 4 delivery fee. So I thought I would just order over the phone. I give them my card number over the phone and give them the address of my office, which is a pretty big and prominent office building in Herndon. They call me back saying they don’t take discover, 20 minutes later. The driver is also already on his way, so I couldn’t ask them to just cancel the order. I end up calling my friend to ask for his card info(thanks, Dan) and wonder, why put the discover logo on your brochure if you don’t accept it? I called them back and gave them the card info. Even though my meal was only $ 9.99, it somehow came out to $ 13.68(approximate guesstimate). So either no free delivery or a really high tax. Again, why put«free delivery» if it’s not free delivery? There isn’t any fine print or asterisk denoted, either. I understand if it’s free delivery with a minimum charge, but that wasn’t the case as advertised. The driver called me 5 minutes after that asking where my office is because he doesn’t have a GPS(I thought delivery people had GPS by standard… I was surprised he didn’t have one, let alone the fact that he also didn’t check where his delivery location, my office, was before he left). I didn’t know exactly where this restaurant was, so when he asked, «is your building on the right or the left side of XYZ Drive?» I didn’t know how to answer him; I didn’t know which direction he was coming from, and he just said he’s coming«from the restaurant.» I ordered boneless chicken kabob. My bread that came with the meal was kind of burnt. Not too big a deal. I bite into the chicken and it looks hot pink along random lines in the chicken. I look closer and find a curly black hair strand. I look through the rest of my food and find another curl of short black hair. I’ve uploaded pictures. I try to save one-star reviews for the truly horrendous, so by mercy, I’m giving this place two stars.

I made the mistake of ordering delivery I guess. The food is great every time I order it but the service could not be worse. Est. delivery time is 30 – 40 minutes. Everytime I have ordered it has taken at least an hour. Not only that, I am ordering this online so you would think my order would be right. It hasn’t been right a single time. This time I called and told them I was missing pieces of my order. The man told me he would check with the driver and«are you sure you’re missing some?» He then told me he would call me back. Never got a call back. They are still open now and coincidentally my message keeps going to voicemail. This is absolutely ridiculous. I love their food but this service and horrible apathy on the phone are not worth it. I can get my Pakistani food in a number of other places and will now. I can’t believe it.

Estimated delivery time was 40min i got my food about and hour and a half later. The samosas were extremly salty and the butter chicken was very sweet. It felt like i was having a candy bar. Would not order again.

I’m a generous reviewer so this says a lot. Not impressed by this place. We were delivered some menus at our work place. Menus looked great. Wonderful, delicious pictures and coupons. We decided to try it. Like some other reviewer said, they don’t seem to honor the exact same coupons they advertise but they will offer some«other available coupons» but not the same discount. Since it has been several months since I have ordered/eaten from this place, I cannot be specific about the meal I had except I remember that it was dry and bland. My co-worker who ordered the food said that the woman who took the order was rude which I found interesting that other reviews mentioned this as well. Have I ordered from them again… no. Will I again… no.

I don’t typically post reviews, but DONOTCOMEHERE. The service is absolutely appalling and the way they talk to people unacceptable. Furthermore, the restaurant is dirty, and the food just this side of edible. I could have forgiven them the food if the service was better, but any proprietor should be aware, at all times, that the life of your business depends on your customers. Please, under any circumstances, do NOT go to Chanab Kabob.

I ordered the chicken kabob and the yogurt sauce and basically everything on my plate was lacking flavor. Salt couldn’t even help. There are definitely better kabob places around.

I realize most of the reviews here are for the buffet, and I haven’t tried it yet, so perhaps there’s a redeeming quality to Chanab kabob. But if their buffet is just a larger all you can eat version of what I ordered for dinner tonight, I’ll take a pass. So first of all, I love Unilocal’s Eat24 app. I just ordered delivery from CK tonight using the app for the first time and it was easy peazy lemon squeezy. Now if only the app could improve the quality of the food it orders, I’d be in heaven. I ordered a chapli kabob from CK tonight with extra rice and chick peas(because I needed to spend at least $ 20 to get delivery). The best part of the meal was the chick peas… it was the only thing with moderate flavor. The chapli kabob was bland, even though I asked that it be spicy. The rice wasn’t cooked all the way and lacked all the normal flavor and texture of good basmati rice. I didn’t even touch the«salad» which was basically a handful of shredded lettuce with 2 slices of tomato. If it wasn’t bad enough that most of my meal was bland, CK also forgot to deliver the two drinks I ordered. Fortunately, Unilocal’s Eat24 app took my question regarding the missing drinks immediately via online instant message chat and they refunded me for the drinks. So again, 5 stars for Unilocal’s Eat24 app, but only 2 stars for Chanab Kabob. Considering how many kabob restaurants are out there, I likely won’t go back to CK unless I happen to already be in the shopping center where it’s located and I don’t want to eat at any other restaurants.

Do NOT order delivery! I placed an order yesterday and the delivery driver forgot my co-worker’s soda. No big deal, I thought. I called and spoke to someone who acted like it was a huge inconvenience to send out another soda, and offered me a refund instead. My co-worker was not happy about that, so I called back and requested the soda, and the response I got was«uhhhh okay, it’s gonna be a while». Never got the soda, never got a refund. I was a delivery driver for three years, up until not too long ago, and you better believe if I forgot ANYTHING I hustled myself back to the restaurant and delivered what the customer had PAID for. Not to mention, and I didn’t witness this, but apparently the delivery driver was making lude gestures while he was waiting for me to answer the door. Not sure if he is mentally all there if he can’t remember a soda and doesn’t have the patience to wait 20 seconds for someone to open their door. The food was pretty decent tho. Chicken kabob was flavored well, and I liked their tzaziki. Delivery driver needs his diaper changed, and the counter kid needs some customer service skills.

Terrible food for the price you pay! No seasoning, no taste… definitely go elsewhere for your kabob cravings! Will never visit again-complete waste of money. Whatever price they advertise online, it is jacked up once you go to pick up your order! Scam artists!!!

Came here for the $ 10 lunch buffet and was pleasantly surprised — everything they had was really tasty. I can’t speak to the phone service issues others were having, as I had no problems with them in person. I’d definitely go back again.

The rudest phone call I have ever experienced. When I was done ordering, I told the woman I had a coupon for 15% off $ 20 or more«Delivery Deal»(see uploaded photos). She said no such coupon exists. I told her I was looking right at the coupon and she said, «Then you can’t read.» The conversation escalated kind of how YouTube’s Ownage Prank Calls do… the woman was actually yelling at me on the phone. Needless to say, we did not order from there and never will.

Stopped by for lunch while on a project basically because I was not in the mood for American chain food and was pleasantly surprised with this find. W did the lunch buffet which was about $ 10 and very good. The butter chicken and sweet rice were particularly tasty. I was impressed when they brought over fresh warm naan. I noticed some reviews were not pleased with the service but I had a positive experience with good, clean, and fast service. If I find myself in the area looking for a meal I will be sure to visit again.

This place has the worst service ever. So extremely rude on the phone. When you first call they don’t even say the name of the restaurant they just answer with a «hello». It took 2 people and 15 mins on the phone to get my order in. I had to keep repeating things over and over again. When I finally gave her my credit card information she hung up on me. I called back and very nicely tried to cancel my order and tell her why I was doing so(I was over it at this point) she started YELLING«well thank you very much, thank you very much». So I just hung up. I will never eat there again.

Great Buffet. surprisingly good! I really wasn’t expecting the quality of the food to be where it was, but i really enjoyed it. I’d say they border on a 3.5 and 4 but the owners are so friendly and helpful it tips the scale. anyway, if you’re in the area, i’d totally recommend the lunch buffet … i wish there was more space in there, but it’s a minor detail
