Don’t Waste Your Time Shopping Here This so called grocery store is a sad excuse for a modern food store! When we shop from the sale add that is published for this area, including Fox Mill, they rarely have most of the items in the ad. In addition, even when you shop from their regular stock their selection is poor at best! I was hoping thing would change with the new manager, Jason, who replace the previous disaster about a year or so ago but it either stayed the same and in some cases it has gotten worst. If I was the the over seas owner I would either improve this store, using their North Point store as the model or shut it down and let a new food company come in who understands how to really serve people in a neighborhood like Fox Mill with a better selection and inventory! Note: The produce department here is top notch but the meat department is unprofessional and the people there lack butchering skills! When you ask them to cut some meat they never have time and you get a real nasty attitude, so one has to run to manager or as we do go to North Point or Franklin Farms! Note I live 500 – 700 feet from this establishment and my kids are always driving to other Gaints!

If you’re looking for good organic produce this place is sorely lacking. I couldn’t even find any good organic tomatoes. As for the 5.99 cut flowers? I got some pink roses, and once home, I noticed the buds were sagging to the point if I barely touched them, they popped off, were decapitated faster than you can say Marie Antoinette!

Not many frills but it’s a clean store, generally has what I need and the staff is usually pleasant. My review would warrant three stars if it wasn’t for one extremely unpleasant cashier named Alice. She acted put out at having to process my purchase and snapped at my kid. My son was touching the candy, if it bothered her she should have said something to me, I do not take kindly to strangers disciplining my child.

The guy that works in the deli is very lazy I thought he was going to have a heart attack when I asked him for fresh spicy wings this will be my last time coming to this store

I’ve grown up at this Giant so maybe I just don’t know any better(considering the reviews below me seem rather low), but I love the updates and I love that I always know exactly where everything is. They have a lot in stock that the one next to my new house doesn’t. My only complaint is theres always a long line at this pharmacy.

Giant is a convenient supermarket at the newly renovated Fox Mill Shopping Center. Place is clean and have a great staff. Occasionally I find great deals, but overall this isn’t my number one grocery store.

This grocery store is right by my house, which is the only reason I go here. I’m taking time to review this Giant is to let people know that the prices here are higher than any other regular grocery store I’ve seen. Maybe it’s because of the location that they feel they can get away with it, but if I’m doing normal grocery shopping and have time, I go out to Harris Teeter or anywhere else for that matter. The produce section is also pretty sad. I usually end up having to pass on getting the moldy looking fruit and vegetables they have out. On the plus side, the staff is friendly, and we bank at the PNC inside so it’s convenient.

Not the greatest place for grocery shopping, but the convenience of its location and their gas rewards program are why I shop here frequently. Their staff is pretty friendly, too.

The prices are fair and the store is kept clean and well stocked. It is easy to park. What I particularly like about this location is the caring attention of the produce manager and his staff to their section. I rarely find poor produce there. It is significantly less expensive than Whole Foods, and strangely enough there are some products on the shelves that I cannot find at WF.

FIRST, I am an organic food advocate, and I do most of my shopping at Whole Foods. BUT Giant Food is right around the corner so I do go there for various items. And since Giant recently renovated this store, I had to give it some kudos. It’s now a large, clean, well-stocked, relevant grocery store.
