Thought I placed a simple enough order. I asked for my steak to be medium well with a side of broccoli. When my plate came it was set down and then my waitress was off to the races. I looked at the plate and could see blood running out of my steak. I know some people think this is the best way to eat a steak, I am not one of those people. After eating all of my broccoli and surfing the internet for news articles my waitress finally stops by to check on me. I told her my steak is no where near cooked properly and ask to have it taken back and cooked properly. The plate is taken away and then brought back by the dining room manager. I cut into the burnt offering they have brought back to me and now we have shot straight past medium well to well done(dang near burnt) I just asked for my check so I could leave. The only reason I give it one star(aside from the fact zero is not an option) is because they did not charge me for my meal. Not going back here again. McDonald’s down the road was a better meal.

2:30 the day after xmas only 1 family was there. We get seated right away and look at our menu! We finished looking at our menu and talked some. Realized we were really thirsty. 10 minutes and we haven’t seen our waiter once! No one came and asked us what we wanted to drink! 5 more minutes and I can’t see another worker or waiter in the whole place. Poor service in an open restaurant!

Several bad experiences with this particular Outback but tonight culminated my last ever visit there. Couldn’t even make it through my salad before finding a nearly foot long jet black hair. Nearly got sick right at the table. Calling their corporate office on Monday and never going there again!

I ordered online and was at the restaurant at the time my order was to be ready. My total time sitting in my car, waiting for my order was 50 minutes! No one came out to check on my order till I had been waiting 20 minutes(I had a broken let and was not able to go in. But, if I had been able to walk in, the door was locked and no one unlocked it for the 50 minutes that I was there waiting). The server came out and asked what I was there for. I told him I placed an order and he said he would check. He came back and said their internet was slow(40 minutes slow?). He said he would be back with order. After another 15 minutes I called the manager inside. I asked him what was going on and he said he would be right out with the order. Well, that didn’t happen. I waited another 15 minutes and a young server came out with the food. Once we got home(1.4 miles away) the food had to have been sitting out because it was room temp and dried out. I have been here many times and I always tip 25−30% because it has usually been good service and food. I don’t know what happened on 12÷05÷15 but what a complete failure this trip was. So many little things could have helped this experience go better(Would you like a soda while you wait? Coming out every few minutes to keep me posted on status of order? Offering a free appetizer for my trouble?) The owner/manager really need to know how to do their job and make sure the people they hire can do the job they are hired for.

My food hasn’t been served yet but I know this was the right place to have dinner. My waiters name is Brett, seek him out! He makes the experience worth coming. I felt welcomed and he has great service down! I’m from out of town and I don’t know him. He’s the kind of guy that shakes your hand and truly cares. Thank you Brett. I’m sure food is going to be good.

We just ate there. Pretty clean. Good service. The food was pretty good. It is what it is when you go to a chain steak place. This one is pretty reliable.

I shouldve known better than to order chicken at a «steakhouse.» I do not want to even call it a steakhouse; thats an insult to the poor cows. Anyways, chicken overcooked, the herbs were probably expired, the parmesan was out of a bag somewhere. The seasonal veggies were dry brocolli I would feed birds at the Reston Town Center. The mashed potatoes were a blob(please see pic). It instantly dried up my mouth as soon as it hit my tongue — no flavor. Something a dentist can use when youre drooling all over them during examination. And the shrimp; well these were the infamous cocunut shrimp that tasted like the chef had a grudge against me. Not tasty at all. Happy this was a to-go order so I can barf in my own bathroom.

Delicious food, fast service, friendly staff — Brock waited on us, thank you, you were great! The Bloomin Burger is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. My picky son was pleased with his food as well. We’ll be back!

I took my wife and 22 year old son to the Outback tonight for dinner. My son was asked for his id when he ordered a beer. He produced it and the server moved on. My wife jokingly said, «ask my husband for HIS id — it will make him feel good!». The server took my order for a glass of wine and then asked for my id. I told her I didn’t have it with me, to which she replied«then I can’t serve you». Um — — what? She said in the state of VA, if you don’t have your id with you, you cannot be served”. I’m 63 years old! Do I look like I need to be carded? We asked to see the manager, who came over and confirmed that it is a VA law, that if asked, and a customer cannot produce a valid id, they cannot be served alcohol. As if a state liquor license board member is going to come in and make every customer in a restaurant, at dinner hour, produce their identification? You just can’t fix stupid.

Got together with some friends and our families. Seating wait time was about 4 minutes. The table we were seated at was just right. The waitress was attentive and helpful. They had a special that was reasonably priced and gave us more options. The Appetizers were excellent. I recommend the Blooming Onion was a big hit at our table. The food arrived shortly before we finished our appetizer. It was served hot and was very delicious. They cooked the«Victoria’s Filet» just right for me. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff attentive. We have returned a number of times and it is one of our favorites.

Service was awful. Waited 10 mins at the bar to even be greeted, the manager walked by and NOTHING. Once I finally order, I confirmed what their«mid rare» is for burgers, since all places are now some how different. I ordered a burger that should have came with cheddar cheese, I got what looked and tasted like Kraft singles. This all put me really behind to get back to work and since the server never checked on me I had to eat a dry WELL done burger with crap cheese instead of a mid rare burger with cheddar. The worst outback I have ever been to.

I got there at 7:15 pm on a Tuesday night and had to wait for 40 minutes to be seated. Then my bf and I had to wait for another hour until a waiter came out to apologize that they had sold the last piece of Prime Rib and if my bf and I wanted to order anything different. I was super pissed. How could a restaurant let customers wait an hour and 40 minutes and then come out to apologize for not having what they order and patiently wait for? This place is ridiculous. I will never go back there.

Service was relatively quick and the waitress was nice. I ordered the prime rib and from the description from the waitress was under the impression that it would be very red if I ordered it medium so I ordered it medium well(which I NEVER do). It came and was too well done for my taste and ended up eating less than a quarter of it. I was not offered to have it redone and ended up paying for something I didn’t eat or enjoy. I was very disappointed.

I really need to update my previous review. Outback is definitely not my go-to for steak and hasnt been for a while haha. Still, I figured it wasnt bad for an inexpensive steak… this time I was wrong! I could have gotten a better steak at a waffle house! I was really disappointed– the steaks here werent as I remembered. Everything was too salty from fries to potato soup to shrimp. The steak I got was $ 17 for a itty bitty 5 oz piece of thin breakfast style steak that I wanted well done but was burnt on both sides and a skewer of 6 shrimp. Not worth it! It did come with 2 sides– salad(which would be hard to mess up) and the potato soup which was good but on the salty side. One positive note, our server Jillian was very sweet and super attentive.

I love Outback, I frequent there often. I have the Outback app downloaded on my phone and was emailed about a 15% off coupon and the criteria outlined in the app AND on the coupon itself said to show the coupon. Fast forward to my most recent experience. Food was delicious, atmosphere was lively, staff was friendly, and restaurant was clean. I whip out my phone to use my 15% coupon and was told that I could not use it because it wasn’t printed. I’ve used coupons in this manner successfully with Outback previously, this was upsetting to me on principle simply because I did my homework the monetary value was minimal.

The service here varies. For the most part it is very good, but we’ve had a few nights where it has been slow. We come here regularly and would totally recommend the Aussie Rum punches and the $ 12 Wednesday meals! One time recently we decided not to go on a Wednesday, I think we went on the sunday and I got the Steak and Shrimp combo. Which was a little un-satisfying, having only had it a week before at the roadhouse, which was huge big bits of shrimp and a big lump of steak, it was disappointing to see Outbacks equivalent, especially at is was the same price. The Shrimp looked small and measly in comparison. Edible, just not as enjoyable. and the Steak was more grisley than usual. So not sure if we just came on a bad night or what. Because usually it is great value for money. But I am not sure I would go any other time other than Wednesdays now. So I am going to give it 4 stars as its not perfect, but it is most definitely our safe«go-to» restaurant for good service and nice atmosphere.

Usually can’t go wrong with Outback. We go to this location regularly. The staff that welcomes you when you arrive is friendly. They usually are there to open the door for you when you arrive and leave. They have a few really good waiters and the last few visits we’ve been lucky to get one of them. The owner is usually present too which is nice and makes you feel as if he cares about his restaurant. Our regular items to order usually consist of the Outback Special, the ribeye, sometimes the Victoria’s Filet. On occasion someone will get the sandwich on the focacia bread. Love the garlic mashed potatoes and the wedge or the standard side salad. Steaks are always cooked the way we order them. Last visit we tried one of the new chicken dishes — Parmesan Herb Crusted Chicken. It was really good. We will keep coming as long as the staff and food remain consistent.

Haven’t been to an Outback in a good while and this hit the spot! Had to of course start with the bloomin onion, then got the chicken and ribs for my entrée, soo tasty. My brother got the rib eye and we all shared — delicious all around. The garlic mashed potatoes is a must. And the service was great, friendly, and prompt. Nomnomnom

*This review is for this location only! You know that moment where you try a chain restaurant you’ve been craving and haven’t had in a while, only to remember why you haven’t been there in a while? That was our experience today… unfortunately. We went for an early dinner, wasn’t even 4 o’clock and there were only two other tables occupied in the whole restaurant. My point, it was dead. I will say our waiter and the service was good, no issues there. However, the same can’t be said for the quality of the food and drinks. Both my husband and I said: ‘With the restaurant this dead you’d think the food would be outstanding!’. Overall the food tasted very un-fresh, as if our meals were microwaved; there was no TLC given to our meals. For $ 65 the food tasted terrible. Very disappointed.
