Worldgate Barber

I like the location, the people there, and the haircut that I received. The reason for the two stars is for cleanliness.
Every good barber I’ve ever been to will sweep up after every cut, this didn’t happen at worldgate. I had to wade through multiple haircuts worth of hair to get to the chair, not fun when you are in sandals. There was also a good bit of hair under every work station and all over every clipper, brush, and comb in the shop. There was a lot of hair to start with on the floor, but I also watched at least 6 people walk out after their cut without a broom coming out.
The chairs are also very close together. The barber cutting next to me was using a blow dryer to get the hair off his customer, since he wasn’t careful when he did this I caught the air from the blow dryer along with some of the hair from my neighbor.
I’m not comfortable sitting in a pool of other people’s hair, I’ll have to find another barber.

First time in a long time where I’ve been super satisfied with my hair cut. These guys know what’s up.

Great haircut, friendly staff and great price. Lots of people coming in for haircuts and the staff seemed to do a great job focusing on good haircuts and customers feel it’s worth the wait.

I have been here twice and I am sold on these guys. I have had bad experiences with a handful of barbershops in the area but this place makes up for it.
I usually don’t get anything terribly hard to do. I get a medium fade, not too high (point where I want it to start), rounded sides not square, and a trim on top. I have short hair so I go with a three or two on top. Everywhere I have been it has been crooked, patches left uncut, square like a flat top, or ridiculously high on a medium fade! The search has been for almost two years for the right barber shop and the search has ended with Worldgate Barbers!!!
I have tried two different guys at this place just to see what they would do and get a feel of who is good. Usually there is one or two guys that are really good
and the rest you don’t want them to touch your hair ever. This not the case here. These guys are patient and good at what they do. My haircut is now a side part fade/​bald cut fade and they have nailed it both times. You guys have a new customer indeed.

Bring cash– some very good barbers here.

Awesome spot! All the barbers are Vietnamese and have amazing attention to detail for the price. Make sure you bring cash for their $ 14 flat rate, because they do not accept credit cards. I get a pretty basic cut, but they still habitually spend a ton of time making sure everything is symmetrical, tight, and in order. I’ve spent primo bucks at PR Partners and also gone to the typical spots like Hair Cuttery, but this place has been the most impressive in regards to value and consistency.

Good haircuts and price. Take their time no matter what the cut, for me a buzz.

I stopped by today for a lunchtime hair cut, they did a good job keeping to what I asked for in my haircut.
They are a cash/​check only place, so be sure to be ready for that (pretty standard around this area). Only complaint would be that they need to do some heavy vacuuming in there, there’s hair pushed into corners that could easily be cleaned up. Otherwise, beyond that cosmetic problem, I’d recommend stopping by if you need a trimming.

Every barber I’ve had does a great job. Always left feeling satisfied. I moved about a year ago and drive out of my way to get my hair cut. Great price and friendly service.

I heard this was a good place to get your hair cut having just moved to Herndon from Dallas. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the experience. I had a guy named Ken who was nice enough but didn’t cut the way I wanted. I told him three times not too short on sides as my hair is thinning. I don’t know if language was an issue. Final straw was they would not take a credit card «because it costs them too much on one cut.» Sort of rude I thought. I pay everything with my debit card to track my expenses. I will need to find another option in Herndon.

Ken the barber is AWESOME! He is the only one that gets what I want for my haircut. he takes his time and never rushes.
Place is clean and everyone is friendly.

I was recommended by a friend to go to this barber. I am very particular about who cuts my hair because most people just can’t get it right. I’ll give most people a few tries to get used to my head and hair, but Ken is right on the money every single time.
I’ve gotten my hair cut by a couple of the other barbers in his shop and they did a good job, as well. Everyone is very, very friendly and is truly accommodating and appreciative of their customer’s patronage. The shop is very clean and looks brand new, unlike a lot of the other local barber shops in the area.
I used to pay $ 25 or more for a cut so I have no problem leaving $ 20 for a $ 12 haircut that is better than anywhere else I have been. I’m moving to Falls Church in a couple months, but I’ll have to find a way to keep getting my cuts from here.
