Good sushi but don’t go at night because they are always in a hurry to close and kick you out

Not a bad sushi spot for the high desert. They offer quite a few specialty rolls along with spicy edamame, oyster shooters, quail eggs shooters, pineapple sake and much more. It’s a quaint seating area with 2 flat screens set up so there is not a bad seat in the house. Service is usually on point depending on the amount of people and time of day. Lastly, the price is on par with the food and service. Give it a visit if you’re a sushi fan.

The food is great the cook is amazing but one of the waitresses is so rude and didn’t even check on us the whole time we were there it was ridiculous very poor customer service … And me and my family have been coming here for a long time … My friend didn’t like her meal and they didn’t even say sorry or offer anything else or take it off the bill VERYRUDE waitress

This review is based on service. Simple… fu*k this place! Waited for over an hour and our order still hadn’t came out. Waitress never checked up on us to let us know there was a delay. We did receive our drinks and appetizers, but no sushi. Ended up leaving money on the table for what we had ordered and the waitress still had the nerve to chase us down and ask if we «were done or what?!». Told her we left what we owed on the table and she went back in. If you’re hungry, don’t come here unless you want to wait. Maybe if we would of came right after breakfast, we would of had our food by lunch.

With burnt meat, Wal-Mart noodles and tasteless broth, the ramen manages to be a trifecta of horrible. The sushi is, indeed, decent, but the front of the house is horribly managed. Three sofwaitresses may ask to take your order in less than a minute. Don’t get me wrong, they’re professional and polite, the restaurant is just horribly managed. My tea was microwaved, they had to wash cups to give us our drinks, our plates were still wet from being washed, it was a hot mess.

It was ok nothing special. We prefer sushi place on 7th by Costco, they have urmari and serve desert and salad free of charge. Only reason we came here is we had a mini staycation at the holiday inn.

The place serves great food and at a good price. I’m in here with a 3 item bento; California roll 6 piece, Salmon roll 6 piece, teriyaki chicken with salad and misou soup. For under 12 dollars, I’m full. Waitress is great. Started me off with warm slightly seasoned edamame. Will return! Recommend

Lately this place has pretty good. Very rarely is it hit and miss anymore. Have to say we come here quite frequently now.

Though the food is good, the service is awful. I had to wait about thirty minutes for ramen while everyone’s food, sushi, handrolls, and salad was delivered at a faster yet relatively slow pace.

This was easily the worst sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to. The permit says the maximum capacity is 40 people, if that tells anything about the size. This is not a bad point, itself, as some of the best places I’ve ever dined at were small, «hole in the wall» type locations. Still, this place falls far short in just about every way possible. Since Unilocal doesn’t give enough room to write all the details I’d like to give, I’ll give what info I can. Facility –This place lacks any hint of professionalism. There are specials posted in various areas, written on plain paper and looking like they were created by a 2nd grader — randomly taped to windows and walls with scotch tape, no less. –There is a green neon sign hanging on the wall near the bar area, to the left of the entrance. I thought the way it was hung seemed odd(chain loop around a couple of wall mounts), but then I noticed some artwork behind it that appeared to be a woman — with the sign itself covering the torso area of her body, specifically. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s a topless woman, and — instead of removing the decoration — perhaps the sign was intentionally placed to cover up the objectionable part of the decoration. –What does a cheap place give customers who don’t know how to use chopsticks? Give them a plastic spoon! Why bother with silverware? They have to wash plates and other dishes anyway? Would it really kill them to provide customers with real utensils? Service The waitress was the only thing good about service. I can’t say she was great by any stretch either, but I’ll at least credit for trying. The service was very slow. The restaurant was near full capacity, with at least three 8-party tables to deal with on top of ours and others — all with only a single waitress available to handle all of them. I still say she was good though, since she was apologetic and really was trying to keep up. The problem is the owner seems to have no clue how to manage things in an efficient, well-organized manner. How do I know this? Because the owner helped take care of the couple seated next to us three times, yet never made any attempt at all to stop and help us. She evidently also didn’t communicate anything to her waitress either, as the waitress(when finally freed up enough to check on us) asked us right away if «she»(the owner) had taken our food orders yet. The food didn’t exactly get to us very quickly, but I actually expected it to take much longer, all things considered. If the owner had any hint of leadership and organizational skills, and a clue how to better train her staff, the service would likely be much better, even with no additional staff. Food Taste was just«okay». There was nothing about the taste that really jumped out and impressed me. It wasn’t terrible, but it was far from great too. To make it worse, the first piece of the first roll we had practically fell apart in my soy sauce tray while I was trying to dip it. My sauce tray was full, yet I was left with more rice sitting in the tray than soy sauce — before I even got my first bite. With several other pieces, parts of the rice would stick to the plate and fall apart before we could even pick them up completely. The real kicker was the Peppered Salmon sushi roll that I ordered. It cost $ 9.99 and I expected it to be like any other roll. What I got was two small balls of rice with a piece of salmon placed on top, with some pepper sprinkled over the top of it. Complete waste of time and money! Worst Part My wife used to teach Serv-Safe classes, and she knows all about exactly what county health inspectors look for. Thankfully, she happened to have her attention focused on the food prep area. I say thankfully only because I’m glad we learned how undeserving this place is of its«A» rating. She observed the sushi chef(a young male) rubbing the shoulders of another employee with his food handling gloves on, then he immediately after started handling food with those same gloves on. She immediately brought it to my attention, then when the waitress came back, I informed her of what we observed. I asked to see the manager, who I then learned was the owner and same lady who helped the couple next to us. We let her know what we saw and warned her that county health inspectors can shut her restaurant down if they see that. We gave her a chance to be the manager/owner she should be and handle the situation internally, since the chef might just be poorly trained. But he could be adequately trained, yet have bad habits that can get somebody sick. To be honest, I’m not even convinced the owner really understood exactly what we told her. I’m not convinced her English speaking skills were adequate for her to fully understand what we were telling her, and she did a lot of stuttering and no apologizing when we brought our observation to her attention. We’ll definitely never return to this place again.

This was my 4th trip to this Sushi restaurant. I ordered a spicy tuna hand roll and a poke salad, both were very delicious and fresh tasting. This place is a favorite with my family members. The service has always been great, and it certainly was on this visit too. They serve a wide range of rolls, which I really appreciate as I love trying something different every time I go in. I would definitely recommend this place.

Used to love this place when they first opened, but it has gone steadily downhill. Food isn’t horrible, just extremely inexperienced chefs. Ordered soft shell crab appetizer and it came with no legs! In 20 years of eating sushi(both good and not so good) I have NEVER received a soft shell crab without the legs!!! On top of the less than average sushi and sashimi, the service was atrocious! The waitress played with her phone the whole time and then brought us our ticket without ever asking if we were even done. We needed to order a roll to go for our son and had to have it added to the ticket(to which she made her displeasure obvious) This will be our last time at this establishment!

Have been eating here weekly or so for over three years. Small dining area and sushi bar served by hard working staff providing good quality sushi. I order spicy tuna cut roll with gobo added for tasty flavor, along with tuna and salmon sushi — simple and basic. I add salmon egg sushi for the finish while washing it all down with chilled saki — a perfect meal, every time. Salute!

Just left and the service was horrible. Or it was actually the lack of service. Walked in and stood at the front while the waitress just started at me didn’t even bother to say hi or seat me. Not even a general you can have a seat wherever you’d like. Once I took my seat at the studio bar the chef just started at me not even a hello or would you like a drink, nothing. I was literally in the restaurant and not one person said a word to me. Horrible service…

Went there last night and everything was horrible. We were seated and did not get our food until 45 minutes later. The servers were running like chickens with their head cut off. When we finally got our rolls they were inedible. Some sushi rolls were thick and short stuffed with crab and almost no fish. Others were long and thin with a tiny amount of avocado. The rolls did not have any flavor and they all taste the same. I don’t know what happened to this place… It used to be good! As for me this is the last time I will be coming here.

My fiancé and I have come to this particular sushi place twice. Both times we have immensely enjoyed our visit. We generally order Udon, which is always delicious, a garden salad which is huge and fresh and flavorful. I love their dressing. We have ordered a different variety of tools each time and each is better than the next. The Mozzarella Tempura rolls with spicy tuna were to die for. The Hawaiin Volcano was very good. I always order a salmon roll which is always fresh and tasty. Basically anything that has graced our table has always been delicious. The servers are excellent. They have nice back ground music and televisions with close captioning. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Sushi is just ok, it’s hit and miss with the tastiness of the rolls and freshness of the fish. Sushi pizza appetizer is huge and something to get. They definitely don’t skimp in the spicy category, if it says spicy, your in for a nose running episode. Service could be better as far as attentiveness goes. They are super friendly in here, but when there is only one waitress for the whole place, she needs to be more on the ball with checking in on tables. It was obvious to me that everyone who was seated around us was irritated at trying to get her attention failing. Note to the owner– You really need to have more than 1 waitress. Seriously! Especially for the dinner rush. I feel bad for the waitress every time I’m in there.

I decided to celebrate the first day of school with sushi I didn’t have to share with my kids. I came in about 10 minutes after they opened, there were only a few other people in at the time. I ordered the scallop sushi, and the Lyon roll. The chef was very personable and attentive, and this is the first time any sushi chef has asked if I wanted even more ginger and wasabi. That right there jumped Oasis up a star in my rating. The scallops were perfect, not too salty(as sometimes they are) and the presentation was beautiful. The Lyon roll was also very flavorful and the chef cut the pieces thin, which is a bonus in my opinion. Now for the reason Oasis did not receive a full 5 stars. Cleanliness. I sat at the sushi bar and the laminated menu in front of me was sticky, the stainless riser above the counter needed a good wipe down. Also, the«inspirational» 70’s music could go.
