Wonderful customer service… extremely helpful workers. The associates went out of their way to make sure I had all the information I needed about the products I was interested in ordering. My friend told me about a BBQ on sale there… she saw it advertised at Wadeson’s for $ 50 less and they matched the price. I bought a six burner BBQ (Char-​broil) for $ 299 and a 7pc patio set (great quality — not the garbage that other stores have been selling– –it was really sturdy) for $ 399. I was esctatic with my new purchases and very pleased with the service I received. I also bought a 20FT flag pole and flag set (the kind that is cemented in the ground) for $ 140.
The sales associates are knowledgable and helpful. If they do not know an answer to your question, they find the appropiate person that does. I would recommend this store to others.

A diamond in the rough. Real rough. However, overall well supplied, the electrical department was referred to by another reviewer as a «graveyard» because real hardware-​like switch boxes and outlets and stuff you’d need to, well, do real electrical things… was pitifully stocked — but that shiny $ 400 grill no ones buyin’ is taking up a whole aisle. Likewise in some other «departments»…
Workers are helpful and attentive, however, this store needs customers. And more stock. and a makeover with nice, white, lighting… Those dreary 3000K flourescents make the place look dingy and depressing. I couldn’t choose a paint color in here LOL.
But the place is clean and so convenient for the people who live in the area (alot of you) who don’t want to drive all the way to Route 23 for Lowe’s, Route 17, Suffern, etc… Get it?
Hey Sears… Keep tryin’ — we’re rooting for you. Pleasant, old-​fashioned shopping. Like from the 70’s.

Good clean store for a Sears Hardware. I have been here a few times as my sister lives in Greenwood Lake and I have been pleasantly surprised with the location having what I need every time I go in. I felt the front end staff was very friendly and helped me with getting keys made.
