This is a great comic book store. The owner Jeff has the shop stocked with collectibles. The staff is very informative and it is always a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this shop.

This comic shop is amazing, it has a vast collection of comics. He has the newest weekly issues and a great collection of back issues. He also carries independent series that other comic shops on long island dont carry. I was also surprised to see assortment of toys and collectables. But the most important factor is Jeff(owner), he is extremely knowledgable, helpful and friendly.

This is a good comic book store. The store is chuck full of comic books and comic murchendise. The guy behind the couter is knowlegable. Prices are average. Two problems, no sign outside, and parking is very hard to find.

I’ve been coming here since I was about 11 and its always been a pretty great place. Jeff the owner is actually a nice guy as long as you’re not an ass to him!(I’ve seen people act that way towards him in the past) Every time I’ve gone in there the staff was extremely helpful and even ordered specific comics I was looking for. A little pricey but I don’t mind supporting small businesses.

This store is chock full of comic books. It’s a mom & pop store so you might pay more for a comic you buy here vs. buying the same comic on amazon but it’s worth the extra cash to support a small business store. My sister’s husband used to buy comics here all the time and occasionally I’ve bought something from him. My co-worker also stops in regularly. The owner is very nice, any time I’ve come in he’s been very helpful and not annoyed with life as one reviewer said. You can tell he’s a comic book kind of guy through and through and I feel he is possibly living and working in his passion for comic books. He also has many super hero statues around the store. This is a small style version of mid town comics in Manhattan.

Not sure where the negative reviews about the store owner are coming from, but he seemed really nice and helpful during my visit! Jeff(the owner), introduced himself then helped me find the books I was looking for. Seemed pretty friendly to me. Maybe the reviewers who think he’s rude caught him on a busy day when he didn’t have time to be more personable? Either way, I’ll definitely be coming back.

Probably my favorite comic book shop around NYC! There’s a huge selection of all sorts of comics, collectables, gaming/TV/film memorabilia and more! After my first trip there a few months ago, I’ve found myself going back again and again with my friends who are also interested in TV/film memorabilia. The owner is your classic comic book shop owner(prime example, The Simpsons). He’s a little protective of the shop, so he follows you around while you browse, but after your second or third visit(one he knows you’re a return visitor), he backs off. He’s also very knowledgeable, so don’t be shy with your questions. He may not be the nicest person I’ve ever met, but he’s a great comic book shop owner! As for travel, it’s extremely easy to get out there. Just take the Rockaway Turnpike all the way down to Broadway, and make a left turn. Then just sit back and enjoy the pretty houses and open landscapes of Long island and you’ll be outside his shop in about 15 minutes. Street parking is also really easy, so that shouldn’t be a concern. Definitely check the shop out. You’ll have a good time, and it’s best to visit with friends or family.

I love this store. I’ve been coming here for years ever since it was located on the other side of Hewlett and I was in junior high. I think the owner is a pretty nice guy. Sure I’ve never had a long conversation with him but he always helps me find the issues I’m looking for. It’s a quiet comic book store with lots of comics and figurines. I recommend it if you’re in the area. There aren’t many comic book shops in the Five Towns and this is a good place to go if you’re looking for anything.

Time Warp is an ok store, but the owner is a little annoyed with life, it seems, and takes it out on customers occasionally. Back issues are ok, but nothing spectacular.
