Walmart

I find this walmart to have less options than the one in okeechobee and palmetto. Parking here is a lot easier though.

This Walmart like all Walmart stores is always busy. It’s hard to find a friendly employee willing to help out. I must point out that Ken from the electronics department is great. He helped me out being very patient with me. My first experience with Ken was so great I purchased 2 flatscreen TVs and I ended up returning to see Ken and purchasing another big screen TV… great Walmart employee… you need more like him. I gave 5 stars just because of my experience with Ken.

NIGHTMARE! Walmart’s are terrible all together but this one is by far one of the worse. Employees down right RUDE! Registers open at a time are about 5 or 6 and the lines are HORRIBLE! I have spoke to the manger here before and he said people just weren’t applying for work there. Really? No, maybe its because thats how Walmart makes their profit. Hiring little employees, pay them crap, make them work every single day besides Christmas, the result? Rude, moody employees. Such a mess in this place, everything is out of place. Target may be a few cents more per item but wow its like night and day. Never going to Walmart again. Feels like a 3^rd world country.

I do not shop often at this store but we were out and about and a few thing’s were needed. Woah, the parking lot is crazy here, people and car’s everywhere. You would think they were giving away stuff for free.
As I walked around I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and organized the store was.
Very easy to find items, good prices for the most part. The bakery department had a good selection of specialty breads and desserts. I picked up some bread and the cutest cupcake ever. The cupcake was about ten times the size of a regular cupcake and it was decorated beautifully with all kinds of confetti in different bright colors. I took it to a friends house and the kids really enjoyed it.
When I checked out the cashier was not at all friendly, more less like a robot who disliked her job. Other than her the store was very nice to shop in and I would shop here again.

I wouldn’t hold much expectations when going into a big general store like this but there is just no care with the employees. The parking lot is kind of small to start out, the lights store wide will dim out and the quickly return to normal and will do this consistently every few seconds or so and they’ve been that way since august ‘010 or maybe earlier. Ive been there maybe 8 times and have never had a greeting from a cashier, in fact the one time that anything was said I asked about the lights and what was wrong with them. The lines to check out are usually 3 – 4 customers deep and don’t be fooled by the lanes that say ‘speedy’ because the cashiers are the slowest that Ive seen anywhere. There’s a target just down the street that I will be going to from now on…
