Called in a thin crust half special and half pepperoni .
Got home had a very thick doughy cheesy pizza that
felt like it kept getting bigger the more you chewed.
As if it wasn’t done. Very disappointed worst pizza I ever
had. Had to throw it away, will never go back!!!

We ordered a pizza and my husband found a hair in his slice. I thought this was just something that could happen and no big deal. Then on my second piece I found a hair too. Of course we threw it away. I called the restaurant and some young girl giggled and asked if I wanted to talk to the manager and ask for a free coupon. I told her we didn’t need a coupon because we would never eat there again. I advised that whoever made our pizza to start wearing head gear.

Careful. They offer a buffet but will charge you $ 3 for your kids, even those 2 – 3 years old. There’s no signage alerting customers to the fact, and no consistency to the practice. There’s also no consistency to the service and quality of the food. Sometimes it’s about the best service and pizza ever and the next time both are so terrible you want to run away screaming. On 10/​15/​2013 we visited while a district manager was there and she confused everyone by waiting on people. She was not wearing a uniform or name tag so we thought she was another customer and it kind of freaked us out. She ought to have either worn a uniform or allowed the workers to do their jobs. It was apparent that the manager and waitress was each very nervous and irritated that the DM caused so much of a stir. The pizza on the buffet was all meat and heavy cheese. There was no diversity to the offerings and the salad bar was skimpy and out of many items including sunflower seeds.

I can’t say many good things about this Pizza Hut. They have trouble finding my house for deliveries, so I’ve started adding special instructions to help them out but they don’t read them. I always get a call 60 – 90 minutes after I place the order and I say exactly what I’ve written and then they come by no problem. Food is usually cold when I get it. I should add that it’s a 5 – 10 minute trip. For reference for you Hickory folk, I live next to LR college. There’s only one shining star delivery man working here who can find me, but it’s rare I get him when I order.
Since I had so many issues with delivery, I decided to call in my order and then come pick it up. The first and only time I did this, they lost my order. I had to wait 25 minutes in the restaurant for an order I had already called in. I don’t have much faith in this location any longer.
On the plus side, I can say that my order has never been wrong. I always get what I ask for.

This is the local Pizza Hut. It was good quality chain pizza. We ordered online, it was ready when we got there, they got the order right, and the pizza was good. No complains.
They do have a dine in with a pizza buffet. This may be good, warranting a slightly higher star rating, but I haven’t had this.

I’m not one for fast food chains, but this is the best Pizza Hut I’ve ever visited. After frequenting here for a summer in 2008, no pizza I’ve tried since (I’m now living in LA) has come close to the deliciously cheesy goodness I found here. A diamond in the rough!
