Terrible company. Broke my Harley, broke my table… no compensation. Believe all the bad you read, it’s true!

Pros: the men who moved my furniture were incredibly professional, polite, and attentive. They worked at a steady pace and slowed down when necessary to ensure that nothing was damaged. They double and triple checked the placement of every item. They stayed until I had thoroughly inspected everything and made sure that it was all perfect. My move happened during a storm, so they covered every piece in heavy quilts to keep it totally dry. I am more than happy with the quality of the move and the attentiveness of the men who worked in the truck. Cons: the office staff is rude and horrible at communicating. I had to make five phone calls and send an email on the day of my move just to find out when the movers would arrive. My move was even delayed by 24 hours and nobody contacted me! My contract explicitly says that my furniture would not share a truck with someone else’s belongings, however when the movers had still not arrived to my house by 5pm the office staff admitted that my furniture was on a truck with someone else’s items so I had to wait my turn for delivery. My furniture was being driven all over the county to unknown locations for an entire day and I had no idea! I was floored! In addition, my contract explicitly said that I could pay with a Visa, but when the movers arrived they said it was a «cash only» business. Unbelievable. The people in the office are dishonest, misleading, and beyond horrible at communicating. Luckily I found my contract and they admitted that they could take Visa in a pinch. I would not recommend this company, although the actual movers in the truck were awesome. Pick your poison I suppose.

Zero stars isn’t possible but deserved. My wife and I moved into a smaller apartment for a year and a half before purchasing our home in late nov. Of 2014. Primary moved our belongings(most of them) from Wilkesboro to carolina beach. Most of our furniture, pictures, personal effects, etc. We’re put into a 3rd spare bedroom upstairs. Upon moving into our home we discovered so many damaged and missing items. Expensive items. They obviously know art, because we were missing 3 fairly expensive(between $ 300 and $ 800) prints. One of those being my wife’s favorite«Berry Pickers» print; 1 of 500. The outdoor storage building was packed as though they stood back and tossed everything in. Fuel tank was busted on my tiller, metal handle bent on my pressure washer and yard tools thrown in without regard. None of the kitchen rugs made the trek nor did any of my fuel cans. They aren’t allowed to haul them, but no one makes you aware of this beforehand. I had a really nice $ 85 aluminum rake for sand that never made the trip. None of my wife’s flower pots found their way here either. They were informed as to all items to be moved but refused to send someone to see what it would take to move us. Their comment was«you didn’t tell us about every tube of toothpaste and every bottle of shampoo. Price increase. Then they came unprepared as far as vehicle size. Again, no one came to look at what was to be moved. Then, they sent out a van. Loaded it 3 different times and still couldn’t get all our belongings. They left all my belongings in the front yard overnight as they had to take the van back and get a larger vehicle. Still we are missing a lot of items and don’t have a clue as to what all we are missing. This company is very unprofessional. They wanted me to give them a key to the apartment so they could come down and unload the truck(s) without our presence. We refused that thank god. I can only imagine. Furniture beat up, knobs broken, and other various damage to many things. If you value your belongings any at all, stay as far away from these thieves as possible. I don’t know what they did with our things but we had entire boxes of kitchen gadgets and pots and pans decide not to make it to carolina beach. Heed my warning or suffer the consequences. Tell all your friends(stay away from Primary moving and thievery I mean storage).

I genuinely hope that nobody ever subjects themselves to this moving company. We paid top dollar to have our entire home moved. The drivers not only delivered the furniture 11 hours late but had to be coerced into doing so. We were lied to in regards to the location of the truck and ETA for delivery on four separate occasions by both the owner and the driver. It got to the point where we were certain our belongings had been stolen. It was only after mentioning the phrase«stolen property» that we were able to get the company to deliver our furniture in time for us to sleep and avoid getting a hotel on a Tuesday night in Charlotte. The lies that we were told from this company were insurmountable. Please be wary when using them.
