U-Haul Moving & Storage of Bethpage

When I realized I needed to rent a truck to move some furniture, I internally cringed as I heard many horror stories of friends and their experience renting one. They often complained of rude service, dirty trucks, and poor managed businesses.
When I came here on a Saturday afternoon, there was none of that. I walked in and though the one and only worker there was busy, he assured me he would get right to me. Once he did there was a little bit of struggle pulling up what supplies I packaged with my online truck reservation as he told me the system was severely lacking. Since we didn’t have many options, we went by the honor system and I picked up what I ordered. Going through the contract, the employee was polite answering and questions I had; he even helped me carry things to the truck as my hands were full. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes which was nice. The supplies pricing was very reasonable.
The truck itself was very clean inside and out and was damage free. Driving it wasn’t too difficult as it offers a variety of mirrors to help you maneuver around.
When I returned the truck, it was hassle free since the employee was able to finalize the transaction outside with his cell phone.
I would definitely come here again if I needed a truck in this area.

Best customer service out of all the U-​Hauls on Long Island. Everyone was polite and very accommodating. They went out of their way to help me out when I was stuck in a jam. There are other locations closer to me but I will always go to them in the future.

I have used this particular U-​haul twice. Every time was a pleasure. First time for a camping trip after getting screwed over by enterprise car rental and this time for the pick up of a couch. They are fast, easy and well priced and completely headache free. The trucks and vans are clean and well maintained. I will be a repeat customer.

This place is love hate for me.
On one hand the staff is nice and the vehicles are clean.
On the other, the wait time is ludicrous. Came here on a Saturday morning (with an online reservation) and waited 40 MINUTES!!! They seriously need to evaluate the number of reservations and staff accordingly.
I like u-​haul but this place needs some more staff.

Great customer service, clean trucks, honest pricing.
They also have a wide variety of packing equipment (boxes, tarps, tape) to buy on site.
