Been back several times to Lulu and Blu — great food, friendly service, not too noisy. I especially enjoy the lasagna, and the lemon tart for dessert

Fantastic! In a larger city this quality would require a reservation 100% of the time. The calamari was cooked just right. The pastas were fresh and the sauces full of flavor. A nice selection of wine is offered and they make a great cocktail too! We will certainly be back. So great to have such a gem in High Point!

I knew I would make it back to LuLu and Blu and I’m so glad that I did. Everything about my experience was perfection! My mother, sister and I decided to have a girls night out, and we picked LuLu and Blu, as we hadn’t been back since it first opened. I have to say that the ambiance was lovely, the server had a wonderful and agreeable personality, and the food rocked our socks. We started with bread and olive oil. I don’t know if I was just starving, but even this was perfect. I had a glass of the dry rose for $ 9, while my sister had their drink special, a lavender hibiscus lemonade. It was AWESOME! My mother said that her Kahlua and cream was the best she’s ever had. Our appetizer came out very quickly and was also delightful. We ordered the Arancini for $ 7, which are three fried risotto balls over a sweet pea purée and topped with a tomato, caper relish. The unassuming flavors melded wonderfully! I had the duck special for $ 25 and was very pleased as the duck was cooked perfectly. There I go using that word again… but there really is no other way to describe it! My mother and sister both had the Short Rib Papparadelle for $ 18 each. The raved about their entrees a multitude of times. I will definitely be back to LuLu and Blu, and you should too. It’s the perfect place for a nice, quite and intimate dinner.

I don’t know how this little place transforms from a quiet little place to servicing the hoards of design industry people during the bi-anual High Point Market — but they do an excellent job! I’ll be back.

5 stars for excellent food, excellent drink and even more impressive customer service. The staff is top notch, but not so much so that it feels stuffy or «too expensive». The atmosphere was very down to earth and casual and the décor is perfect. I decided on the Chef’s Choice Risotto, which ended up being shitake! NOOOOOO! I don’t do mushrooms. Well, my choice, so I sucked it up. It was absolutely spectacular and the best flavors in risotto I’ve had in a while. I literally forced myself to eat the shitakes and in all honesty, the chef may have healed me of my mushroom hatred! YUM. Several friends ordered multiple different items, each of with they were more than pleased with. Lots of «mmmmm» heard around the table. A VERY enjoyable evening and a restaurant I will return to again for every Market! Well done LuLu!

We ate here April of 2016 and the restaurant was very nice inside and out. Our severer, Hannah was very professional and took very good care of us. Of our group of three, none of us really liked the tasted of our food. The salmon was very good but what went with it was not. Chicken Parmesan was ok. I ordered lasagna, it was not good at all. This food cost too much and very unsatisfying, This is not a place we would come back to. I gave three stars because of the good service.

This is a hidden gem. The only problem is that when you find it, you may think it’s not open. Windows are dark and signage is minimal. Nothing minimal about the décor or food. Very intimate but hip feeling in both the bar & tables. The food was outstanding! Loved the olives appetizer and the house salad. He had the seafood risotto special that was superb. I had the short ribs & pappardelle but since I don’t Ike fava beans spinach was substituted. Awesome! This place should be jammed all the time but the night we went we were seated right away. As I said, a hidden gem.

This was a great spot to find, especially since it wasn’t a recommendation on my iMaps? I had an appetizer and a few cocktails for an evening work session on my laptop. Perfect place for it. Though I was tempted by the half price bottles of Italian wine. Friendly customers to make friends with, great service, even better cocktails, I had a Pimm’s cup, and a mandarin sunrise plus their goat cheese appetizer that was the equivalent of comfort food. It was perfect that it was a rainy day, it needed to be cold and rainy so I could be warmed up by the food. I’ll be back for entrees for sure.

Very trendy atmosphere and wonderful cocktails. We were a party of five and don’t think we would have gotten in without reservations. Special was lobster, artichoke & asparagus in vodka sauce over buccatelli. Good but not something I’d order again. Also had seafood bucatelli in a wonderful broth. Pasta carbonara was excellent and so was the butternut ravioli with duck confit. Would love to go back!

Oh my! That is all I have to say. It is a must! I had the Braised Short Ribs Pappardelle and it was beautiful. Sauce was just right, ribs were fork tender and not stringy. My dining partners had Pasta Carbonara and Bolognese. Needless to say there was very little conversation while we were eating, just OHMY!
