The Brewer’s Kettle

This is one of my favorite bars in High Point. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and they have an extensive selection of craft beer bottles/​cans in addition to beer on tap and wine. Staff has always been friendly and attentive. I enjoy to purchase a flight from whats on tap or bottles from the store. It’s a fairly small space, however I’ve always been there around pre-​peak timeframes and have never had an issue with crowdedness. Overall this place always come up as an option when my friends and I want to go out.

The Brewer’s Kettle has an incredible selection of local and international beers. The owner’s and other staff are always knowledgeable, helpful, and just generally down to earth. I’ve come here several times just looking to try a few new things and I never leave disappointed. You can get something by the bottle or by the can, or make it a 6-​pack. They also have wine, and MEAD! Mead is a malt beverage made from honey and it will knock your socks off! I tried it years ago for the first time in some random pub in Asheville and fell in love with it. It will get you in trouble though because it goes down so easily.
This place also has a bar with about 10 different rotating beers on tap and a good selection of wine as well. It’s a very chill atmosphere and one that I desire to frequent more often.

Great people and a great selection of craft brews from all over the country. They appear to specialize in thise hard-​to-​find releases from your favorite breweries. Great selection of on-​tap beers with a mix of local, american craft and international.
They also have wine and a humidor.

Two of us stopped in for a beer at the bar. If I were rating the place as a bar (only) I’d give ‘em 2 – 3 stars. For a bar, its sort of a dump.
However, if I was to rate it as a beer store I’d give ‘em, hmmm, maybe 3.5 or so.
They have lots of great beers on the shelves, although I did not think the prices were unduly attractive.
So, my verdict? I’s «OK!»

They do half pours. The beer is served in clear plastic pint glasses. 11 traps that seemed to focus on the NC and then several Maryland taps. Service was good and the beer selection of bottles was in the basic 200 bottle range. They reused the same plastic cups without washing them out.

If you haven’t been here, go! If you have, I’m jealous!
I lead a sheltered life and didn’t realize there are so many artisan beers out there! David has at least 15 on draft at any given time. And if you get there at the right time, you’ll get to meet «Coach» and participate in a short trivia contest!

Fantastic little beer store in High Point. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Moderate sized selection, but all very carefully selected, and they’ve got a good number sitting in a fridge. Pretty much the only place to go in High Point for your microbrew fix, and definitely the only place in High Point to go for anything Belgian. Plus they actually have a pretty large selection on draft (I think it was about 10 taps) if you feel like hanging out for a bit. Some wine and cigars as well, but I know very little about those, so will leave it to others to review.
If you are already a lover of «fine ales and lagers», or are just toeing the water, The Brewer’s Kettle is mandatory for anyone in the High Point area.

I’m a good beer lover and this is Great Place for great beer of all types & with a friendly knowledgable staff. Over hundreds & hundreds of beers as well as beers on tap.

Greatest place to buy, sample, share and drink socially in High Point, NC. Several rotating taps of the greatest of beer and over 375 bottle brands.
Oh, lets not forget the wines too.
