We’ve used Keyth over the course of 5+ years. Around the time that we were selling our condo, the unit battery was running low which led to countless calls from Keyth to schedule a replacement. We told them we were moving and that was the reason we had delayed replacement. They suggested that we have it replaced so as not to sell a unit that needed to be fixed (at a charge of $ 135). A month later we call to terminate service and they let us know that they will be taking the radio that we just paid to have the battery replaced in. Very misleading…

These guys are the best. I had an emergency situation and called Keyth on Saturday at 2PM. I was transferred to the locksmith right away. His name is John, I explained the situation to him, he said he would be at my place in 30 min. Exactly 30 min later John knocked on the door, it took him 40 min to fix the mess other locksmith company left.
This is how real business should work. Thank you, John, thank you Keyth Technologies, you are the best.

Recently we purchased an entire security system from Keyth. The company is extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the entire process. We had a lot of questions as this was a large project that needed coverage of inside /​outside space, every question was professionally addressed.

I stumbled upon the 1 negative review on here for KEYTH and had to write my own review. You cannot judge a company on what they quote you over the phone. What matters is what they actually do once in your home, the quality of service, cleanliness of work, accuracy, and then a fair final price. We have been with KEYTH since 2002 and have been EXTREMELY satisfied. Their response to alarms is above and beyond the rest, their equipment is cutting edge, the service techs are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, clean and courteous, the scheduling is fast and flexible. When your safety is what matters you want to trust KEYTH. I also higjly recommend their TSP plan!

I recently bought a new single family home in a Chicago neighborhood that isn’t as established as Lincoln Park, Lakeview, or Northcenter, or certainly any of the north shore suburbs. It’s a huge house that my fiancé will be working from home in, and it will hopefully be the home of future children. The security of my new family is extremely important, as is my piece of mind. I have heard that Keyth was the best, so I called them up to ask for a consultation and for a change of the locks. I somehow get transferred to Keith Fisher, the owner of the company, who asks me a number of questions about my family situation, who’s in the house, etc. (seemed like small talk), and he scheduled the locksmith.
On the day of my move, a keyth truck pulled up and changed the locks as scheduled, great service; no issues. I figured that would be the end of it until a subsequential meeting was scheduled. Not so. A few minutes later, in walks Keith Fisher, the owner of the company. Keyth is a big company, and this was a Saturday. He told me that it was important to him that my new family gets off to a secure start so he wanted to personally be involved in my home. It was a Saturday… I believed it to be sincere and I do to this day.
He personally walked through every aspect of the house, showed me each of the vulnerabilities my house had, and presented the optimal security program that protected my needs. It included ulterior lighting plans in my garage and yard, smartphone compatability, re-​enforced door locks, glass shattering detectors on the windows, and he explained best practices of how i should enter and exit my home. I had him proceed with everything he recommended. It was extremely valuable and I can honestly claim that my house is now virtually inpenetrable, and as secure as possible. Talk about piece of mind! I feel like the price was fair, and he offered flexible payment terms.
This type of service cannot be replicated by Comcast or AT&T. The experience really opened my eyes to the fact that each home is different and your home is not secure just because you slapped a system in it that you saw on TV. These guys are the best. I highly recommend them.
Also, the service of the installation, support team, and billing department has been great. This was a great experience and fully worthy of a 5 star review.

They wanted $ 1800 to tie in my alarm system to the central station. Said it would take long hours, require new equipment and leave a hole in the wall.
Another company, DMC Security of Midlothian, set it up in two hours. No new equipment. No Holes in the wall. $ 125 total.
So glad I shopped around.
