Ladies Night at BloOuts Blow Dry Bar

Sorry so late on my review… but this was a great event. Angela pulled it all together so nicely-​the cheeses and bubbly were great, the ice cream was a fun change, the pound cake reminded me of «Nana’s» and my hair was great… all on a school night! Thanks for a great night!

This review is really late, but I wanted to thank the staff at BloOuts for a wonderful Ladies Night. Sometimes it is nice to go out with just the girls!
I had fun getting my hair curled and going out for dinner afterwords with Michele B and Valerie W.
I loved the ice cream that had alcohol in it. I am going to have to contact the lady who makes it!

As others have said, this was a great, low-​key event during the week. I’m glad I was able to attend and find out what BloOuts is all about, because, let’s face it, sometimes I am too lazy to wash and style my own hair. I have no shame in admitting this. Now, I won’t spend $ 35 a week to have it blow dried, but once in a while, or if I’m really desperate and didn’t have time at home, I’ll definitely check to see if BloOuts has an appointment available (online booking!!)
Angela set the tone for the evening perfectly with some delicious cheeses and bread, as well as prosecco (which I mixed with the blood orange juice that was also available, so good!) The spiked gelato (I tasted the limoncello lavender) was fantastic.
I had my hair curled, which was fun, even though I knew I would be washing it the next day. All of the staff was friendly and quick, curling my entire head with a (I think) less than 1″ barrel took maybe 10 minutes?
All of the ladies I’m sure left looking even more fabulous than they did when they walked in.

Vivian gave me the best style that I had in a while. She just worked effortlessly and the best thing is that she did not judge my hair as being too fine or in need of a haircut (I am trying to grow my hair out a bit for the summer). She just styled it and brought out the best in it. I really like the salon and the blowout bar concept and I will be coming for more blowouts in a near future. I am going to ask my mom if she wants to get a package with me because I think that this is a wonderful opportunity to have beautiful hair all year long,

Very lovely and low key event.
They took my hair from frizzy to fab and the results lasted all evening and the next day! My stylist asked how often I wash my hair and I told her about every other day or every day when I workout. She told me not to work out the next day (Friday), so I listened and waited two days. I’m pretty sure my hair would have remained flawlessly flat on the third day if I hadn’t worked up a sweat on Saturday.
Their Oribe products smell great, too! I couldn’t stop sniffing my hair.
Lots of cheese and fruits to nibble on. Drinks of the bubbly, boozy and non-​alcoholic variety. Jenny S. and I combined champagne with the juices they offered to make a tasty mixed drink. They also provided Miss Dottie’s Pound Cake samples and spiked gelato.
Only touch-​up services were part of the event. Normal blow out services are $ 35 and include a shampooing beforehand, so perhaps what we were shown was not the most accurate representation of what you would get. However, if they were able to make us ladies look this great without washing our hair, I imagine the results would be even more stunning if you came in as a paying customer and got the full treatment.
They also offer Up Do, Braids and Ponytails. There are different prices depending on whether or not you have your hair washed and if you are under 14 vs adult. I could see this being great for anyone who needs some hair help, and as a particularly useful and affordable option for teens.
Thanks Angela S. and BloOuts. I had a wonderful time! I don’t live nearby, so I don’t know when I’ll have a chance to come back, but I’ll definitely keep them in mind if I have a special event to attend in the area and I’ll recommend this place to all of my local friends.

This was such a super fun event! Who doesn’t love getting pampered?
BloOuts is a sleek stylish salon and all of the stylists are so nice and fun to talk to. Janet curled my hair and did an awesome job. I LOVED the hairspray she used on my hair. I could not stop smelling my hair all night.
Before waiting for our do’s we had some cheese, bubbly, and spiked gelato. om nom nom and if that wasn’t enough we had some local pound cake from Ms Dottie’s to go.
I would come back here for an updo, some styling before a night out on the town, and most definitely that hairspray!
