Bobby is great and his pizza is wonderful! We are waiting for him to find a new rental spot and reopen!

Our favorite non Lou’s pizza in HP! You cannot go wrong and the service is even better than the Pizza!

Moccio’s has unfortunately closed while Bobby looks for a new location. While it was open, it was awesome. Bobby makes awesome pizza, sandwiches, salads, etc. Anything you order was great. Never had a bad meal there. Hoping he finds a new location nearby soon!

Happened to drive by at noon today, 9÷3÷15. Moccio’s is closed! Locked up, emptied out, no note on door closed. I am in total despair. Does anyone know what happened? I was in there 2 weeks ago and it was business as usual.

I took my daughter and my sisters kids for a pizza and french fries. We need more people who own restaurants like this guy. Let me start and say that the pizza itself was cooked perfect and we love squares not pi cuts. Also french fries were great we also had a salad which was extremely fresh. These guys are the real deal

Amazing food and solid options on pizza, wings and sandwiches. The owner and a regular customer named Lenny made us feel at home. The owner actually bought us our pizza slices once he knew that we came all the way from Oregon to visit his establishment. The other positive option is that they offer deep dish slices on a regular basis. Overall, we had an amazing experience.

Found this jem by chance when traveling in the northern burbs. Took the staff recommendation for the beef sandwich. Awesome! Huge portion. Lots of flavor and cooked perfectly. Staff were so kind and friendly. Would visit again!

I came after adopting a puppy from PetCo next door and got the Turkey & bacon panini and my BF got the Italian beef. Both were really delicious but the Turkey was off the charts amazing with freshly baked focaccia. Ingredients are fresh and tasty-must return and try their pizza!

Moccio’s never disappoints. Whether it’s thin crust or their Chicago Deep Dish, the ingredients are always fresh and flavorful. Bobby the owner is very welcoming and always treats his customers like family. Dare I say it’s the best pizza in the North Shore!

Hidden gem! I am inlove with their bacon chicken ranch focaccia! All the ingrediants taste fresh, the focaccia is warm and soft, and the homemade ranch sauce is killer. And unlike a lot of sandwiches it really fills you up!

Bobby to the rescue! Delivery or take out this is a great pie. There is a few places to sit for a slice but it is set up for take out. I know that the pizza is always a hit with the kids and the wings are meaty and the perfect amount of spice. Beyond the food is Bobby he is a very nice guy, like shirt off his back nice.

Wow! How can I fit all of my love into one review… I first went to Moccios last week. I’m very familiar with another pizza place in Highland Park, Viccinos. Wanna know the main differences? Better food, and better customer service. At Moccios you are treated like family, not like a lower class citizen like I have become accustomed to for years. I got what is apparently called«Bobby’s Beef», which I have to day I did not expect much from, what can I say I am a beef snob. He suggested I get cheese on it which in my mind screamed RUN! Wow was I wrong. This was by far the best sandwich of my life — ANDIVETRIEDTHEMALL! You name it, Al’s, portillos, browns, I’ve tries them all. This place blew them OUTOFTHEWATER. And don’t get me started on the fries! Now don’t order the regular fries, because from what I’ve heard, they taste like… well…fries. Order them«Bobby’s Way», a little Olive oil a little oregano, and if you love feta like I do, make sure he throws some of that on there too. Top 5 fries for sure. Check out Moccios, you will not be disappointed. I will be coming back time and time again, and will be a lifetime customer for sure.

It may be a small place with only a few seats, since most people(like us) come for take out, but it saved us from huge«what are we going to eat for dinner» disaster on Thursday night. Thank you for existing Moccio’s. We’ve ordered pizza from here on several occasions, but Thursday was special. One of my son’s came home with a fever and our night at the mall got canceled, so I grabbed my well son, ran to the grocery store and headed here on a whim to save the day. We came in looking for slices, but we left with two personal cheese pizzas for a little over $ 10. It was nearing the end of the night, so the owner made us a special deal. I don’t remember the pizza tasting THIS good! The crust was different, it appeared hand-twisted and flaky. The pizza was super light on garlic and cheesy good. Typically we request pizza without garlic because I’m garlic-sensitive, but everything was exactly the way I like it. Oh, and for the rest or the family? All four of us ate and ate and we still had pizza left over the next day. A real genuine pizza win.

Moccio’s knows how to do take-out Italian. It is what you expect it to be, but for what it is, it’s delicious. We’ve ordered a few times for carry-out and delivery, and have never been disappointed. While we haven’t had the pizza, we’ve enjoyed their salads, pastas, cheesy garlic bread, and sausage & peppers. There is some inconsistency in how the food comes(sometimes the cheesy bread is baked on top of foccacia, sometimes on a split french roll, sometimes the sausage is cut into thin slices and baked until crispy, sometimes its in big chunks [note to Moccio’s — the thin, crispy sausage was AMAZING]) The prices are FANTASTIC. The portions are HUGE. Delivery comes quickly. I don’t know what else you could ask for! After seeing some of the photos, I want to try pizza now!!!

What a tiny little restaurant! The guy working the desk seemed to know every single person that walked in and out of the door and was considerably friendly. Great service. I ordered a lunch special: 2 slices of deep dish(you have a choice of deep or thin) with a drink. I wanted one to bring home for dinner, so he was kind enough to offer to heat one up and leave the other piece cold. So considerate! As for the pizza itself — I recommend not adding any parmesan to the slice you eat. I couldn’t finish my first slice because it was terribly salty. When I reheated the other slice the next day, I was sure not to add anything to it and it was much more manageable. However, I also cut the slice in half and only ate part of it, thus limiting my sodium intake. All in all it was a good first experience. I’ll be back if I ever need a quick lunchtime fix of deep dish.

After noticing a friend talk about how great this place was, I decided to stop in on my lunch break. I never go out for lunch, so this was an exception. It’s about a five-minute drive away from work and I have about 40 minutes for lunch. Should be enough time to eat! I learned that I need to call ahead of time to order so I don’t spend most of my lunch time waiting for the pizza and then rushing back to work to stuff it in my mouth in the few minutes I have left. That aside, the pizza they made me was pretty good. I ordered a personal pizza with no cheese and they substituted the cheese with a topping instead of charging me extra for it. Yay!(They did charge me for the second topping I put on it.) The personal pizza was $ 4.99 plus $ 1.00 per topping, which is really expensive if you want a veggie personal pizza topped with some variety. If you just want a cheese or meaty pizza, it’s a good deal. The regular sized pizzas were reasonably priced(and more worth the $ 1.00 per extra topping). I have to say the guy sitting behind the register was the most laid-back, accommodating person I’ve encountered in a pizza place. He had no problem with my ‘no cheese’ request and not charging me extra for a topping in its place. He also took a moment to ask if I wanted something to drink while I was waiting nearby. As the pizza was close to being done, he kept giving me a heads up. I appreciated that he didn’t just completely ignore me. Will I be back? I’m not quite sure it’s worth the price here with my picky eating preferences. Had I gone for a typical pizza, this would be a great lunch spot!
