Delicious once again! Visited park place 2 more times recently and took great delight in their burgers. Their grilled chicken platter is excellent as well.

The food is mediocre, but that’s all it needs to be to survive. In it’s 10-year existence, there hasn’t been a single menu addition/change except for dropping sushi off a few years back. They are the only ‘fast-food’ place I’ve ever been to that doesn’t include ‘combos’ in their menu. Also, the prices here are outrageously high as they are the only kosher American grill in the area as permitted by the exclusive kosher-certifying organization.

Overpriced for subpar quality ingredients. Was recommended the pastrami burger by a fat, unkempt shlomo at the counter. Looked and tasted like your proverbial cafeteria food – flat, uninspired, with no attempt to hide such mediocrity with condiments or seasoning. And they put shredded iceberg on the sandwich… really? It’s not enough to serve me a bland dish, they have to insist on ensuring a mess is created after I’m done making the best of a tragic feast. I will never set foot in that place again. Usually in Highland Park I am not disappointed by the local eateries, but this place was dismal. Service was ok, but I could tell no one who worked there was happy. I fully understand why.

I’m not kosher, heck I’m not even Jewish, but this kosher restaurant two blocks fom my house is a favorite of mine and I’m here at least once a week. The fried chicken and French fry plate is my go to order. It’s some of the best fried chicken I’ve eaten and I’m from the South!!! Prices are great and even though the place is noth I no fancy it’s clean and comfortable

I live in Northern, NJ but travel to Park Place. The preperations and freshness is the very best. I like the wide array of food on the menu. Bugers, Steak, and Heimishe Dishes, The Burgers are the best I have ever eaten. I recommend you try! Dov

Despite the fact that the food at Park Place is great, I will not be giving them my money anymore. The customer service from the manager/owner was terrible. He made fun of me to his employees while I was within earshot. Then when I confronted him about it, he thought he could lie to me about what he said, even though I heard every word. Then aside from that, he keeps his mashgiach at the front of the store, instead of in the kitchen where he can watch the food prep. What kind of kosher restaurant is he running? I will not be spending my money there anymore.

Overpriced but tolerable chicken wrap, there were also ants crawling on one of the tables.

I have been kosher my entire life. Typically when I go out of the way, it’s to a hole in the wall place that is barely clean and the food is basic and overpriced. This place is not one of those. The food is outstanding, there is too much of it, and the place is clean. The shawarma I had was amazing, hot and there was too much of it. The chicken soup was hot and delicious. The cole slaw was fresh, crisp, and yummy! Overall, the only knock was that the place was not fine dining. Overlook this and enjoy the wonderful food.

Park Place, a kosher grill in Highland Park, NJ open now for more than five years, serves the best hamburgers I’ve ever had. It’s the only restaurant where I order them. When I want a high-protein mini-feast(alternative to dairy or fish), Park Place is even worth a drive. I can’t figure out whether it’s the meat or, rather, the method of grilling and preparation. One thing: I have noticed especially uniform thickness and consistency, seeming to allow flavor to develop fully within the burger. But, clearly, the freshness and cut of the meat(prior to grinding) has got to be a critical factor too. Park Place’s skewered grill(«kebabs») deliver the lower-carb«adult equivalent» of a burger for when I want to savor the most basic grill experience, or a chicken version when I want something less filling. OK, I happen to have developed a thing for Park Place’s BBQ’d wings, spicy version, and they are quite filling. I have taken to ordering a small serving as a kind of dessert! A family member says they’re so spicy he can’t sit nearby as I’m scarfing them down(they’re also available in a less-spicy version, but I honestly prefer the full five-alarm experience). Use plenty of napkins. I’ve hosted parties in the upstairs room, which affords some privacy. A decorated parve birthday cake(available nearby w/kosher pareve certification) completes the picture. Guests leave with smiles. Definitely leave room: I save my appetite when contemplating a Park Place repast.

I go there every now and then for their deli wraps. They also have an extensive salad bar, and everything from corn dogs to a steak dinner. You’re guaranteed good food and excellent service.

I came here for a business lunch and the food was pretty good. I had a Kickin Chicken sandwich which was way to spicy, but I guess it lived up to its name. The fries were awesome. The food came out pretty quickly and the staff was very nice. I will be back again.

Food is really good and if you call in an order, it has always been ready and waiting for me.

Great burgers, but get the big 8-ounce. I was in the mood for a burger, and the chap behind the counter thoughtfully let me know that the smaller burger is a frozen, pre-formed patty, not as good as the big burger which is fresh beef and hand-formed. And the great burger was cooked to requested done-ness, good but not exceptional fries on the side. Lean but retaining just enough juice and good beefy flavor. Service was good for cooked to order, the place was clean and nice décor and ambience for such a casual eatery. If you are in town and craving kosher meat, I recommend Park Place. I’ll visit again! For a party of two: 28-oz burgers, one shared order of fries, and two beverages, about $ 21.

This a Kosher Jewish deli place. I had the philly steak smothered in peppers and onions, with sweet potato fries on the side, which were actually like potato chips. Both were very good. They have a wide selection of items including salads, wraps, subs and platters. Great selection of esoteric sodas as well.
