Antonio’s Pizza

The Pizza Crust is stiff and chewy the sauce comes straight out the can this is your run of the mill place that doesn’t love what they do there is no love in this pizza sadly Little Ceasars beats it… The wings are decent similar to other unfranchised companies close to food lions wings avoid this place unless your completely desperate.

We were in the area on 6÷29÷15 around 5:30. Read the reviews so tried Antonio’s.
They do have seats but, I would advise to ONLY use this as a take out place. I had to get up from the table 4 times to go to the front to try to track someone down. They are in the back and can not hear you so you have to yell several times. Had to get up for menus, to request a box, to get a check and to get him to come back and take the order. The only thing they do is bring the food to the table. The drink dispenser is in the back of the room so you get your own drink and refills. We had Tossed salad– $ 2.99 (very small), Spaghetti meat sauce– $$ 6.50, and lasagna-(check the board for the price). Both came with bread-​warm and good (salad extra). Be aware– Spaghetti portion VERY small! It was tasty but if you are hungry, get 2 and a salad.
We won’t go back. Had to get up and wander into the other room for EVERYTHING and Child Size pasta portions. The little bit we had tasted good.

Good prices and quick. Pizza was tasty but a little chewy. I like my crust to be a bit crispier. Wings were real tasty and VERY crispy.

This place is okay. Not the best but definitely not the worst more of a middle of the road type of restaurant. The pizza is above average but I was disappointed in the cheeseburger sub. It was just okay nothing special.

Grading just the pizza and service here. Pizza was average. I’m partial to the floppy crust of NY style. This was stiffer. Cheese was on the sparse side. Since there was no website or menu listed on Unilocal,I called to order a large pepperoni and garlic knots. The girl who answered the phone was perplexed by my garlic knots request. Seems they didn’t offer them. Who knew?! So went with breadsticks with cheese. These turned out to be a small pizza crust with cheese on top. Not bad, just far from what I’ve had other places.

The pizza here is EXCELLENT. Fresh. Crispy crust. Served piping hot

Another trip here, since my review is always for wings I wont bore you with that again. .lets talk service today. I always call my order in for pick up, whats nice is they are always on point. They are nice and greet you when you walk in… Then go straight to the money and sometimes some small talk in between depending on how busy they are. Ive never had a long wait for my order. They are always on top of it.
If you dont call ahead and just walk in, the experience is the same… The wait isnt long… And the food is always piping hot and ready to go quickly…
Still my favorite mom an pop pizza place in richmond…

Food is really good and they have a pretty good dinner deal on Tuesday evenings.
