Typically I do not go to commercial places involving pizza but Grimaldi’s is on a completely different level. The brick oven style truly brings out the delicious toppings I got a sausage pepperoni and onion but to be honest no matter what you get this New York Based crust is something that I truly enjoy brick oven style may cost more than the conventional pizza but it’s totally worth it in the end I honestly can never go back to eating a normal pizza Depending on your appetite you can get a personal size which is anywhere from 20 books hour if you have a bigger appetite you can get a small for just a little bit more

Another one of our go to pizza joints. Wood fire pizza, amazing sauce and cheese. They have a great selection of wine, which they change up every so often. Even when we can’t fit another bite, we still order a slice of their tiramisu, drizzled in chocolate syrup. YUM

Went for a celebratory meal today at Grimaldi’s, and in the past we have enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, after being seated today, we still hadn’t received any service. After waiting half an hour for at least a drink order, we decided to eat somewhere else. Extremely disappointed.

First off, the pizza itself gets 5 stars. Hands down amazing. Amazing crust, amazing bake. This is where it falls apart. It is in a high end shopping center in HV and the prices reflect this. Also, to do half 2 topping and half another 2 toppings they charge you for four toppings! Are you kidding me? So now my $ 20 pizza costs roughly $ 28. The staff is OK, not great, not bad. Side dishes — Bruschetta trio amazing toppings, a little too dry on the bread. Spinach side is great too. I wouldn’t come here for lunch as there are no lunch specials. More of a casual dinner place.

Grimaldi’s is one of our all time favorites. The pizza is fantastic. Our favorite is pepperoni and meatball. The carafe of wine is a great deal too. Very family friendly and a patio for when the weather is nice.

I ordered The Don online and arrived at the pickup time. I saw the bartender drop a box which ended up being mine. He opened the box and we both saw the tossed mess. Rather than tell me he was going to remake my order, it was stated in a way that required my confirmation. I didn’t order a tossed pizza, so yes I expect it to me remade. To make matters worse, his excuse inferred that I shouldn’t have ordered a personal-sized pizza. The box is too small for the storage area. As a result, it fell. Lesson learned. I will not order again a personal-sized pizza online because I wouldn’t want to risk the too small sized box to fall. On the plus side, I only had to wait ten minutes for my pizza to be remade. On the minus, I had to remind the guy that the pizza wasn’t my entire order. There was a female bartender whose professionalism was a bright point. She offered me a drink and found a seat at the bar for me to wait. In short, she took charge of the customer service. Sadly, I never got her name. If she’s serving you, know that you’re in good hands. The pizza was great. I love the combination of the pepperoni, sausage and meatballs on the soft crust. It’s a shame this review wasn’t about the awesomeness of the pizza.

Had a great pizza last night. The only problem was telling pizza slices were extremely uneven. It was quite comical. Service was great.

Update, we’ve visited twice since the last review. The service continues to be piss poor which means management problem. This last visit was just the cherry on top. We were sat and did not receive service for at least 5 minutes. Once we did, the waitress seemed put off. We ordered all at once, the pizza came out first, over cooked and lots of bubbles. I said to cancel the appetizer, however my wife vetoed it, and it came out a minute later. The appetizer was clearly thrown together quickly and the tomatoes were picked a bit early. All together, last visit we will have.

Gave this location 2 tries. Pizza still burned on the bottom and not fully cooked on top. The service is still marginal. I gave it a second chance because of the great food and service in Scottsdale.

I really wanted to like this place. We decided to try it out today. Our server was Matt. Four adults ordered four beers, two came and we had to remind him about the other two, which ended up being wrong. We ordered two large pizzas. 45 minutes later Matt sets down two burned pizzas and says we can start on these while they remake our order. Why would he serve us burned food?! The manager stopped by and asked us how everything was. You could tell he was going through the motions but the care factor was missing. The whole atmosphere was just off. The employees weren’t rude but they just didn’t seem to want to be at work today. It’s too bad. We won’t be back.

Great pizza and great service. There was a bubble that formed in our pizza and they made us a whole new one for free and we got to eat the first one. They have a good wine selection at a reasonable price. Very cool décor. Coal fired oven and open cooking area so you can see them making your food. I will go there again so I can try everything! Try the Calzone they are to die for.

We’re bar sitters and James is the perfect«host» at the bar. Personable, great company and knows his stuff. We especially love the two-sided, inside/outside bar. Great wine list, great soundtrack, great company.

Got a chance to check this place out, just before I move into the neighborhood; I arrived at the peak of ‘I just got off work I need a drink and a cheat meal’ hour to join my girlfriend and buddy for some red wines and pizza. From what I remember, most glasses alone are between 6 – 8 a glass, and after browsing the menu, there isn’t a bad bottle on the lineup. So we started out with the ever popular Louis Martini(Sonoma) cab, while made conversation, people watched and joked with our server. Since we’re all hard working young people, we decided we deserved as much pizza as we damn well wanted, and orders 2 smalls(not small by any means), a white and a red. When our pies arrived we ordered a bottle of If You See Kay, an Italian red wine that I recommend for both the awesome bottle, as well as the lovely taste. The both our red and white pizza left all 3 of us feeling satisfied and relatively thin, without any guilt of how much bread we actually ate in that short amount of time… I’m more than happy with my first time here, and look forward to many more!

My favorite Pizza place. First had this while in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago and was happy to learn there is one only 30 minutes from my house. Both time we have ordered the pepperoni, mushroom, mozzarella, black olive and spicy chicken sausage. I think what makes this pizza so special is the awesome dough and the fact that they put whole slices of cheese as opposed to shredded. It really gives it a different texture.

This is our second visit to Grimaldi’s in Highland Village. Our first was a five star visit, and out second three star. It seems the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff vary visit to visit. Overall it does seem a great place for families or friends to dine or hang out. The pizza is thin crispy crust, marguerita(sp?) style. This latest visit the pizza was over cooked, and due to the crust’s thinness, burnt. The amount of meatball on the pie was also much lower this visit. Still, it’s yummy!

The pizza is fabulous. It’s on the pricy side but you’re paying for quality. The crust is crispy yet soft in the middle. Has great flavor. There are many toppings to choose from. I would keep it simple so that the crust can shine. We had artichokes, mushrooms, Italian sausage, meatballs, and fresh basil. The fresh basil really brought out the flavors. Will definitely RTE.

This location is so great! The outdoor patio area looks amazing and the pizza tastes amazing as well! The staff is half and half when it comes to friendliness. When we arrived, there was no host to seat us. We waited as some servers stood around talking to each other, completely oblivious to a small line of guests at the front. Luckily one server, Austin, noticed us waiting and very quickly came to seat us. Couldn’t help but see how friendly he was being with his tables while our server seemed distant and insincere. Other servers stopped by to deliver the pizza or pick up plates(which is great), but they all looked mad or annoyed. Can I at least get a fake smile? The pizza was delicious of course! If you haven’t had the meatballs(sliced) on your pizza, you should definitely try it!

Spectacular pizza! Crust was thin-ish and perfectly done. Sauce was perfect and toppings were wall to wall just like I like. Service was perfect. Even on the chilly patio today, our server was attentive but not obtrusive. The wine list is impressive and affordable. Can’t wait to return!
