This was my very first time at this place and it literally took the girl with blonde hair to pass by me 4 times go to the back bite her burrito then look at me then look at her phone scroll through it and come back out pass by me again without saying a word then two minutes later hi what can I get you, with no customer service and then just went to the back like nothing. These girls had extremely horrible service. How are they even working there.

My review was a 3, now after screwing my meal up and being rude, its a 1. This is my former review here: I gotta do it! Normally anytime i come into town from vegas we have to hit amapola up! Been eating amapola since early 90’s. This location has the worst service. Last visit the 20 something cashier was very very rude. I ask for extra napkins and she thought maybe i ask for her first born. This time not only they wernt going to take my business credit card because name of business was on it, but shrugged her shoulders and said sorry i cant help you EVENTHOUGH the atm machine to pull cash out of inside the gas station was down. I love the food, but step your service up folks.

Pleasantly surprised. Stopped at the 76 to fill up before going up the mountain, was hungry so I grabbed a quick chicken taco. Was really good so I ordered another. They don’t skimp on the meat and cheese. At just a couple bucks, not bad at all. Salsa was pretty good, I could have used a hotter option, but the flavor was excellent. Had to stop back for lunch on our way back down the mountain, didn’t even need gas this time :).

Someone tell me why they only hand out two half filled hot sause per burrito. When u ask for more they want to charge you extra. They are willing to lose u as a customer over an extra 25 cents per hot sauce. Absolutely ridiculous

Don’t let this place being inside a gas station for you, this place is actually really good and somewhere where I would go to regularly get tacos if I lived in the area. I tried their combination plate with two tacos and beans and rice, I also got chips but I don’t like that I had to order them separately but I do like that they were fried. The carne asada was good and the AL pastor was great but I felt they added too many onions and carrots but that will be change the next time I go. Overall it was a great experience while waiting for my car to be washed.

I’ll go on a limb and supply this place 4 out of 5 stars. I suppose it definitely served its purpose which all in all was simply to prevent me from collapsing from being famished as I awaited my Mother’s car to be detailed at the carwash this place connects to. What’s crazy is that several years ago while attending high school in Redlands, I was fortunate enough to visit Amapola daily for my chips/salsa as well as burrito fix and that solidified me as a lifetime patron. I’ve, since, relocated and noticed the place to be an «IE» thing. That stated I was pretty awestruck to come for a car wash and see that this place shares a space with the car wash and to be honest, things took on somewhat of a nostalgic undertone. I walked in to order my past time(the chips and salsa) and was informed upfront that they were OUTOF the salsa. Uhm… Okay? What type of place runs out of the very item that put their name onto the map??? I was led to TRY ordering the guacamole as an alternative and was informed that it hadn’t been prepared yet.(…sighs) is anyone else noticing the pattern here??? I settled for a breakfast burrito of some sort and while it was prepared somewhat quickly and the customer service of the 2 gals’ working was amazing I really do question the direction this establishment is headed. I’m affording 3 stars, as one is for location, the second for value and third for customer service. Inevitably, …NEVER would I allow my store to open knowing in advance that I was out of my «signature» item. #PHUKKERY While prices are fair, the absurd amount spent on the adjoining car wash alone($ 25.00) has documented in stone that I am likely NOT to revisit this location.

So many delicious choices so little time. My alltime favorite is their pork and cheese fries, savory pork chili verde over crunchy french fries covered in melted shredded cheese or nacho cheese. Cant beat it

Very reasonable prices and portions of the best traditional Mexican food I have had the pleasure of savoring. The refried beans have a very tasty classic flavor, the texture and consistency is to die for. Carne asada burrito has great quality meat, the fresh cabbage adds a nice crunch. Large burrito cooked fresh for $ 5.25. Chunky beef burrito is unique flavorful and comforting. Large stewed chunks of beef in a red gravy is legendary for $ 5.
