April’s Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Services

April is incredible! My blue nose pit bull is 1 year and 8 months, very sweet and has high play energy. When plans to leave him with family over the weekend fell through last minute, I found April here on Unilocal and she was immediately accommodating!
The initial consultation went very well, April was calm, asked all the right questions, and I felt very comfortable with her visiting my spoiled brat while I was away. She texted me after each visit to give a status update, and made sure I contacted her the second I returned home so that she knew Rukkus was alright.
Her attention to detail is fantastic, I highly recommend her!

I’ve waited a long time to write a review, mostly because I’m afraid of my favorite pet sitter getting too busy! But, I’ve decided it’s more important to let April know how much I appreciate her. In 2012 I finally took a short vacation, after avoiding it for a long time. I just never felt I could trust anyone to take care of my home and pets. I have 3 big dogs 2 cats, a rabbit and 2 fish– as well as a yard and a house that needs looking after. April did it ALL! Now I have her at my house at least once a week when I have to work long days. It’s just so nice to have someone I can trust with the things I value most. Thank you! (P.S. I’m so glad you are feeling better, too! We all prayed, and our favorite pet sitter BEAT CANCER!!)

I sure do hope that Unilocal doesn’t filter out this review because April has come through for us AGAIN. And it’s not even like a feeling where weHAVE to leave our puppy «Abraham» with someone that we THINK we can trust. When «Abe» goes to April’s it’s like she is going to a slumber party! We can tell she loves it there the moment we pull up in the car. Your services (that’s not even the right word to use) are life saving April. And YOU have helped us so many times, in more ways than you’ll ever know because you are so humble about it. I thought for sure I’d already written a review here — but I guess not! April has taken care of my dogs for the last few years, and I’m never disappointed. My dogs wag their tail when we round the corner to her house. She has two dogs that have become my dogs’ best friends. Her house is super casual and dog-​friendly. I also have two cats, so when I go out of town for longer periods, April comes to my house to care for all of my pets. Her rates are extremely reasonable, and she takes good care of my house. She waters my plants and we find that she cleans, too. lol

After adopting our darling doggie Traz five months ago, the hubby and I were ready for a few days away. If you’re attached to your dog like we are and have no one local that you trust to babysit… the idea of going out of town can be quite stressful. There are lots of recommended dog boarding facilities around that we saw on the web — very professional, clean, etc. etc… but they involve pens close to the size of the one he had to live at in the animal shelter when we adopted him, and the thought of leaving him in a similar environment made us afraid he would think he was being abandoned again.
Pet Care by April is in April’s home. We left Traz in the care of a family that loves dogs, and (as we could tell when we visited her home a few days prior to leaving Traz) it was evident our baby felt comfortable there. Traz was treated like a member of her family, allowed to come and go from the house to the backyard as he pleased (after he was trained to use their doggy door — yay!) and loved playing with April’s own dogs. April gave us a detailed report of what he did and how he slept/​ate/​behaved each day he was with her, and took a few pictures and a video that showed him having a great time. When we arrived to pick him up, he was happy as ever, and did not seem hungry or thirsty when he arrived home.
