There are no many wine stores in this area of the county with an owner that is as knowledgable and passionate about wine.
He is always friendly, and is ready to make a recommendation based on specific needs.
I would gladly drive from Olney to Highland for their service and expertise.

I only gave this business one star because I could not give less. My husband and I stopped into this wine merchant last weekend looking for a Barolo for our wine club. We found a WS highly-​rated Barolo for a great price which was sold out. We asked a staffer if there might happen to be more of the item in the back, and we were told no. Fine. He then told us that more would be arriving within just a few days, and we were thrilled — we asked if it would be the same exact year of the highly-​rated vintage, and we were promised, unequivocally: YES, it would be. You can see where I’m going here…
My husband called today and was told it was in, and so he made a special trip in the pouring rain after a long day at work to pick it up. It was the WRONG YEAR. No apology from the same person who promised us it would be the same exact wine we were asking for.
We’ve noticed before that this wine merchant will hang a recommendation and rating from a row of wines with a year that does not match the rating. I would not recommend this merchant to ANYONE. Buyer Beware!
