Brakes Plus – Highlands Ranch West

I absolutely love this place, because they have completely earned my trust. They took full responsibility for a mistake that I later found out was not even their fault, provided me with a rental car, and made sure that I fully understood the issue at no cost. They recognize me whenever I come in and greet me with a smile, and are honest about what I need while providing me with a great price. These people are nothing but wonderful humans!

Called Saturday morning for an appt and was told if I could have it there by 10 they could get it done by end of the business day. I dropped it off before 10 and asked to have my brakes and shocks replaced. Got a call late afternoon which I missed; called back 5 min later and was told the tech working on my car was on a test drive but they would have him call me back. Never happened. While driving back to pick up my car before they closed, I called and finally spoke to the tech. He proceeded to tell me everything else that was wrong with my car (which I already knew) and he did not replace my brakes/​shocks. Seven hrs my car sat with no work done. Jimmie, the front desk guy reminded me that Ryan had called me and I reminded him that I did call back but Ryan didn’t get the message. The point is, I did NOT ask for an assessment on my car, I just wanted my brakes and shocks done. The attitude we received was callous and uncaring. They will never get my business again and I will advise my friends not to frequent this shop.

I use brakes plus for all of my oil change and maintenance needs for both mine and my wife’s cars. They have never been anything but friendly, professional and trustworthy. Customer service is a priority for them and it shows, they are honest and upfront about cost and are willing to work with you on price. They will always have my business.

They promised I could bring my car in without having to make an appointment, but when I brought it in they said it would be two days before they could get to it. I would definitely not recommend going to this location.

Great service. Attention to detail. This location has a line at the counter, and making an appt. is necessary, but if they don’t get it right, they will make sure they do.

I was pleased. Took my car to get brakes and didn’t have an appiontment, they shuttled me home while they worked on the car.
We took our truck for oil change and they are prompt, and very helpful. Will make this our routine for our vehicles. :)

I brought my car in for an alignment and brake service. I was impressed with the friendliness of the employees and the timeliness of the service. I liked that they evaluated my car and told me I did not need new brakes yet and still had about 60% life left in them. I felt comfortable as a women, not being taken advantage of and telling me something I did not need to get done. I would recommend them and I would go back.

These guys looked at my car and told me a long story about what was supposedly wrong and how they would fix it. A week later and about $ 300 poorer, the problem they’d claimed to fix was back.
Took my car into another (actual) mechanic. What he said was wrong with my breaks was completely different from Brakes Plus. A couple months after the new mechanic worked on my car, problem still gone.
I know I didn’t give these guys a chance to make their mistake right. I don’t know if they would have refunded my money for their bunk work (probably not) or taken another shot at it for free. Either way, I don’t want to bring my car into any place that claims to be an expert in one thing, but gets that one thing completely wrong.

I have been bringing my 2004 Dodge Neon here for regular maintenance for years and have always been treated well. The check engine light came on for the first time recently and we brought it in to be looked at. It needed a new cam shaft sensor. Brakes Plus replaced it within the day for a reasonable price and even installed the new windshield wipers I had been carrying around for months, for no charge. I had an old coupon book they had given me and was able to even get money off. Their website also has printable coupons.

This place was a life saver. Called them Saturday morning, desperate for repair on my calipers. They gave me an estimate over the phone and told me if I could be there by noon, they could get me in. Made it by 11 and they did the complete job for ½ what the other place wanted.
Ryan, the front contact was great: nice, courteous, and professional. Bill, the original person I talked to on the phone, saw the job all the way through. He contacted me personally and confirmed the estimate before doing the work. They finished the job within the day and I am driving away a happy camper. Thanks Brake’s Plus!
