This Denny’s restaurant has gone out of business. It is now being converted to grill of some kind by another company.

This location today lacked a Manager granted she was on the floor however she was failing terribly… stated earlier they had computers down but then had to tell other customers short staffed only have 3 cooks and 100 people to serve which was a flat put lie the restaurant is pretty much empty. A couple had been sitting for 25 mins no drinks brought then server was not very accommodating to their needs. Just over all bad management at this location.

If you like salt and food that’s seems like it’s mostly made off premises and then reheated here, this is the place for you. Slow service only adds to the experience. One star for the coffee. That’s it.

Unbelievable! Couldn’t even get our name in the wait list. If you open a restaurant please staff it’ we left after looking around at 20 empty tables, 15 people waiting to even get on the list.

I have been impressed with the improvement that this location has made. The service is much faster, more personable, and you can tell the wait staff enjoys their job. Good job management!

This location is the best Denny’s I have ever been to. I go there in the mornings sometimes with my co-workers and they are always fast and the food is hot and good. The waitresses in the morning are really nice and on top of refills. I have never had a bad experience here and the food has always come out really quickly and cooked the way you want it.

Its a Denny’s. You pretty much know what you’re getting into just by walking into the door. We really like Denny’s for breakfast because it is much cheaper than anywhere else and the food isn’t half bad. While we have had good experiences at a few Denver Denny’s locations, this one takes the cake for a really poor experience. We stopped in a few days ago for Breakfast because it is cheap, pretty good and convenient. We did the build your own pancake slam and since it is October decided to add on the pumpkin pancakes. When the pancakes arrived, we found that there was 1 regular pancake on top of a pumpkin pancake. We asked our waitress to confirm they were both supposed to be pumpkin pancakes and she said yes. The manager came out and took the plate back to the kitchen. She returned 20 seconds later with two pumpkin pancakes… or so we thought. About half way through the two pancakes we noticed quite obviously that the manager had just flipped the pancakes so the pumpkin one was now on top, leaving the regular pancake on the bottom. We asked our waitress again and asked to have the pancakes taken off our bill. We got a whopping $ 1 taken off, about equivalent to the extra charge we paid for the pumpkin pancakes. When we went up to pay, the manager was there to take our money. She informed us that they made the mistake of giving us one pumpkin and one regular pancake a second time and assured us they hadn’t *just* flipped the pancake and given it back to us. Sorry. We don’t believe you. We could very clearly see the pancakes had been buttered on both sides. That’s just our experience. The pancakes themselves weren’t very good at all, and typically have not been very good the other 2 – 3 times we had been to this particular location. We won’t be back.

Coming into Denny’s I wasn’t expecting to encounter culinary ecstasy when my breakfast arrived(considering I paid $ 7.69+tax for the meal). All around the food and coffee were quite plain and average, but again, it’s to be expected when dining at a value restaurant like Denny’s, Waffle House, Village Inn, etc. I’d still go back, but I wouldn’t be in a rush. The waitress and manager were polite and professional, so they did well in that regard.

We like coming here on Saturday’s for the kid’s eat FREE. Food here is usually ok. Not amazing. Better than some. Our waiter was tentative. Restaurant is clean and nicely maintained.

Used to like going to this place. It’s not a five star restaurant by any stretch, but if you’re going to Denny’s, you’re probably expecting that. The food is, typically adequate, and the place is usually nice and clean. Nothing special. Last night looked like they had the biggest disaster they have ever experienced. Most of the tables were dirty — and I mean DIRTY — and the staff was run ragged. Our waiter apologized that they were understaffed for the night, but he would be with us as soon as he could. Ok, I can deal with that and am willing to give them the benefit of a doubt. But once he dropped off our one menu(yes, one menu for two of us, excluding our kiddo), we didn’t see him again for about 10 minutes, when he brought us back another menu and then promptly disappeared again. Ok, fine, short on menus. I can deal with that, too. Ten minutes later he comes back to get our drink order, then disappears again. I then asked my wife if the people behind us — who had clearly been there a while — even had their drinks. She responded with a no. Ten minutes later, our waiter is back on the floor delivering drinks to every other table… except ours. He comes back over and says that he «forgot our drink order». Ummm, write it down? Seriously, not that difficult. Paper, meet pen. It helps you remember things. We decided to leave. Thirty minutes in, no food, no drinks, and one irked & hungry kid. We told our waiter to not bother with the drinks, left and got food someplace else. I’m sure faster than the people who had been waiting a while before us. We likely won’t be back for a while. I don’t need to waste my evening waiting for meh food, which I may never even get the opportunity to see.

It was not as great as it used to be, was the first thing I thought of when was eating my breakfast. I ordered the one of their ‘skillets’. The links were cut /sliced and not completely. The tomatoes — not diced. They were more like cherry tomatoes, sliced in half — and in total, probably two of them For me, there was not enough peppers and onions. The vegetables seemed to be cooked separately, then mixed together with scrambled eggs.

Seriously people! It’s a Denny’s… the food was good, the service just fine. We got our coffee fast, our order taken quickly, food quickly. It was delicious. Fair prices. What else do you. want? If you want a better experience then go to a more expensive place. if you want to pay for linen tablecloths and crystal glasses then go somewhere else but if you want the basics then this place meets this needs. Great to dine alone or with the family.

Manager told me «we are busy and i’ in back so i don’t have time to talk to you» Server was beyond SLOW and needs to be trained on how to be a server. We had our order screwed up, wrong drinks(both times we got them after we had to go out of our way to get our servers attention), also had our Order served 10 minutes before we got silverware, Manager also told us it was because they were busy and had to wash them but when i complained about it for the 2nd time he walked right up and brought out silverware. When i asked for the number to corporate headquarters the manager pointed to the wall and walked away. Not to mention they seated us at a dirty table and then cleaned it.

Its hard for me to fathom that Denny’s is still alive and kicking. I haven’t dined at a Denny’s in many years, and now I know why. I figured since it was a new location, it’d be ok. I sat at the counter. The restaurant was not busy. I ordered a cup of decaf coffee, which took five minutes which is a very long wait for coffee at a counter seat. Eventually I placed my order. I ordered a vegetable omelet with egg whites, hash browns, and english muffin. It was pretty greasy, but tasted just ok. I sensed that something on the plate tasted very salty, but couldn’t pinpoint what it was. Since I was still hungry and had some omelet remaining, I ordered more has browns. Nearly 15 minutes later I received an order of french fries. Sent ‘em back. A few minutes later I received my hash browns. Well, the heavy hand of salt ruined the taste for me. I had about ½ of the side order and decided to call it quits. It appeared as though, there were only two servers for the entire restaurant. luckily for them, there were only about 15 tables occupied. The staff was working hard, but seemed disorganized. They have free WiFi, but it didn’t work well when I connected my mobile phone. In summary, I won’t be coming back.

Had a great experience. Almost didn’t come in because of the reviews but I’m glad we did. Tana, our server, was great! She was very attentive and friendly. Dad ordered the Lumberjack, with the typical two eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, hashbrowns, toast and pancakes. He mentioned that the hashbrowns were a little over-cooked, and the sausage was salty. I ordered the Ultimate Skillet, which came with potatoes, sausage, grape tomatoes, spinach and eggs. It was delicious. I didn’t notice the saltiness of the sausage, most likely because it was mixed in with everything else. If you ask for flavored coffee, they will bring the syrup on the side, which is great because it allows you to customize the flavor to your own taste. Our only complaint is that corporate removed corn beef from the menu! Apparently they change the menu every few months. So here’s to hoping that the corned beef will make a come-back.

I’m not entirely sure why(based on my first experience) there is always a line of people waiting to eat here on the weekends for breakfast. I’ve been to Denny’s for many many years on drives to California with the family. The décor is all nice and shiny and the service was decent but the food was just not alright. I had the tortilla omelette and while I applaud them for creativity the quality of their ingredients are just so noticeably from a package that it pains me to pay what they are asking when I received my check. The cheese on my omelette wasn’t even real cheese, it was probably some sort of Velveeta or nacho cheese from a can. Bummer; I was hoping to add this to regular rotation but I don’t see that happening.

While Denny’s isn’t a place you’d typically expect to receive a 5 star treatment, I was still a little displeased with the service and good quality of this location. The staff here was attentive, but not all that friendly. I had the distinct feeling I was pestering them whenever I asked for anything. My expectations for the food were low to begin with and I was still disappointed with the quality. However, the food is cheap and it’s still a good place for a midnight snack if you’re out late and everywhere else is closed. My biggest complaint would be the décor of the restaurant. During my visit, the dining area was decorated with extremely tacky plastic and paper decorations. It looked like a dollar store craft isle exploded inside the restaurant. It was not comfortable at all.

We were pretty excited when a new Denny’s was opening in our neighborhood, and we would not have to drive across town. Our first trip was pretty bad, after all 3 in our party were brought the wrong orders, but we said«it’s a new restaurant, they’re still figuring things out.» The next trip was actually worse, as we waited 15 minutes for anyone to come to our table, and when our food finally arrived, half of it was missing. Our appetizers never arrived, but were still on the bill. Today, we decided to give it one more try. When we were sat by the manager, we figured we may have a chance for prompt service, and a good experience, but unfrotunately, after sitting for 15 minutes, no one ever came to our table. We got up and left the building with no one even noticing we were there. I’m going to have to go with the good old baseball analogy of «3 strikes and you’re out!» All 3 experiences were terrible, and if we want to eat at Denny’s again, I guess we will have to do some driving.

Denny’s chain of restaurants usually are good for quick sit down food with kids, not this time! The waitress was clueless and made 6 mistakes with our orders and took way too long to get the basics for the table i.e. silverware, water etc. The whole staff including a very unhelpful manager are poorly trained and made my family’s experience horrible. Do not eat here, worst service in Highlands Ranch!!!

The new Denny’s location in the Target parking lot at Highlands Ranch Town Center is very nice. They built this store to be more upscale and the dinning room is well appointed which makes this a great place to meet for a quiet business meeting over breakfast. The«Slam» meals and«Senior» meals are still priced cheap and the food was really good. I requested extra crispy hash browns and they came out perfectly. Two eggs, two pancakes. two sausage links, and hash browns for $ 5.99 is not bad. Our server, Patrick, was very friendly and the pace of the meal was just right. I believe Denny’s hit the mark with this location.
