We had a simple and delicious breakfast at Bake My Day before heading out of town today. Between us, we had blueberry pancakes, bacon, hashbrowns and a freshly baked croissant with egg and cheese. The croissant was heavenly and the eggs were perfectly cooked! The blueberry pancakes with *real!* maple syrup were light, sweet and so tasty. Everything was great and the owners/​staff were very kind. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their baked goods (all looked so good!) and their lunch. Happy to have a breakfast spot in Highlands that doesn’t stop serving mid-​morning and major points for being open on Sunday too!

More than just a bakery! This café offers much more than just pastries, there is a nice breakfast and lunch menu, and Denise personalized their offerings to our liking with no problem! The owner came out to meet us and thanked us for coming in. Both Denise and the owner were extremely pleasant and welcoming.
We took the breakfast sandwiches to go, one of us got on a bagel and one on a fresh croissant. Both were delicious and served hot and fresh.
Definitely a great quick and friendly spot to grab a bite.
**Also, they are open on Sunday which we had a hard time finding.**

The service was fast, friendly and efficient. The place was very clean. It was the first place in a few days of traveling in the area that had good quality bacon. It was cooked perfectly. The only drawback I noticed was the eggs and hash browns were cooked in some kind of oil that I didn’t care for the taste of. (My husband didn’t notice).

We had a delicious breakfast here! Denise took great care of us and breakfast was served fast and hot (important for breakfast). Prices reasonable. The grits were rich and creamy, the wheat toast was nutty and high quality, the eggs and hash browns great, coffee hot… Just a great meal. We can’t figure out why this place wasn’t packed! Unlike the other review, this place was spotless and clean. And Denise even have my boys a cake pop at the end of breakfast — so sweet! Def a new spot on my list!

These people don’t seem to care about running a restaurant. 4 – 5 tables unclean, even the table they sat me at. You might say oh they are so busy they can’t clean tables, not really. Coffee is out. You would be crazy in the head to come here. Consider yourself warned.

Had two delicious Paninis that we would highly recommend. The Caprese had delicious pesto sauce and fresh spinach, cheese, and tomatoes. My wife had the egg salad with smoked salmon that was fantastic. We split them with each other and I still can’t say which was better. The owner came over and greeted us… everyone very friendly and everything freshly made and creative. They, also, have a nice bakery. Will definitely come back.
