I had the chicken fried rice and it was suberb! The food is cooked to order, so be prepared to wait a few minutes. This was enough food for 3 meals! Excellent plantains on top, too! Cash only establishment, so bring some money with you. It’s worth it!

Very good Ecuadorian food. a literal
hole-​in-​the-​wall with a few barstools for seating. The Chaulafan, an ecuadorian-​chinese shrimp and chicken fried rice with plantains, is great. Serving size is huge, I think it could feed two people unless you just ran a marathon this morning. They have quimbulitos, humitas, morocho, timbulos, pan con nata. Close to the pleAsant Memorial Park on Peddie Lake so you can eat your food there if the weather is nice. I have visited Ecuador, this seemed quite authentic. Highstown has a large Ecuadorian immigrant population. They have some Ecuadorian sodas. Cash only!
