Target

As much as I love Target, I found myself severely depressed while walking around this store in particular. There is nothing wrong with this store in terms of products, design, or even the location – really the reason I was upset is that there was barely anyone in the store on both of the times I visited. I am used to walking around my local Target in Orlando, FL surrounded by people picking out their essentials and generally being happy about the good prices and quality offered by Target. In Ohio (or at least at this Hilliard location) this was not my experience. Both times I stopped in there was literally one cash register open. This was not because they were short staffed, but because there was literally no need for a second cash register to be open!
Despite the lack of people shopping, they also managed to not have my size available of the particular product I needed. This added to my frustration. Overall, as much as I love Target, I have to say that I was quite disappointed with my experience at this store. Does anyone else who is a local know why no one was at this Target? I would appreciate the insight!

Pros:
Convenient location. Clean store. Usually helpful employees.

I practically live here. Just sayin. I love Target and this is the closet location to my home. My only complaints are two.
1. They are often out of stock of womens clothing in my size (medium).
2. I had a really unpleasant experience with the woman who maintains the dressing room, and was CLEARLY unhappy to be doing her job. I did speak to a manager about it, who was appreciative for my feedback.
Overall I’ll be coming to this Target again. Probably today, actually.

So much better than the one on West Broad. You can actually find staff to help you out!
This one is clean, I can’t say much about pricing on everything in the store because I only go in for Blu Ray and DVD movies. No complaints so far.

I love Target and shop there for a lot of things but this is by far the worst Target I’ve ever been in. This Hilliard location is closer to me than the other, but I go out of my way to visit the one off of Cemetery.
The employees here always look so sloppy. Half of the time they aren’t wearing red and khaki at all or they walk around wearing t-​shirts two sizes too big. 4 out 5 times I ring out here, the cashier doesn’t say a word to me until they hand me a receipt. Around the holidays I saw a cashier leave her station with a line of people to go greet her friend and hug her at the door. Where do they find these people?
The team that stocks their inventory does a TERRIBLE job because nothing is ever in the right place. Recently I bought a pack of paper towels and it rang up double the price the shelf said. When I said something the employee just turned around and flipped on her light. After two minutes the guest service associate came over and made a scene and ran off to go change the price on the shelf. Then a couple weeks later I was buying a drill and it rang up $ 40 more than the shelf said. When I brought it up to the cashier he and his trainee just blankly starred at me until I finally broke the silence by saying that I would go figure it out myself. When I came back to the SAME register 5 minutes later with a different drill they didn’t even acknowledge me or ask if I found the correct price.
I’ve been in enough Target stores and was a team lead in college to know that these kinds of issues start at the top down from management and training. Hopefully they can get some new management in there to turn things around.

Let me start by saying I like Target. I shop here a lot– groceries, clothes, electronics, most everything! Never had issues with the quality of the items, even the Target brands.
A couple of the staff are fantastic. Some are omg what are you thinking. And I can say that because I worked at a Target. I helped open this particular one as a supervisor. So you can say I have an idea how staff should interact with customers.
Most cashiers at this Target forget to scan certain items and double scan some. I’ve come home before missing things as well. But sometimes it’s more of a hassle for me to drive back and deal with the people, who are not always friendly, to get things straightened out.
And here’s what’s worse– there was a time I stopped payment on a Starbucks charge because I know for a fact I was charged 2x (I have the receipt and everything). Target collectors called my home phone round the clock NONSTOP to collect $ 4. Target claims they investigated their till and I should really be charged 2x. Really. Same day same time 2 cups of the same coffee. Sure. I paid the 4 flipping dollars just so they quit bugging me.
So yes, please, check your bags! I’ve started counting my items and standing at the end of the bagging area to see all my stuff. I check things again before I exit the store. For smaller purchases, maybe use cash. Keeping receipts doesn’t seem to help anyway.

I love this target and the staff. If I need help, there always someone who is happy to help me!
Starbucks is also my favorite in Columbus. Every staff member is always so gracious. They take time to know the regulars and fix any mistakes without charge.

I love this store, target is one of my fav stores to shop at for makeup, clothes, accessories, toiletries EVERYTHING! Lol

I don’t shop at Target for my main grocery shopping, as I think it can be a bit pricey. But I do love to shop here for accessories, makeup and clothing. Their clothing and shoe selections are awesome. Also, I love looking in their home décor aisles. I just find all their stuff so stinkin’ adorable!
I love that there is a Starbucks right inside. I like to grab a coffee or a frapp before I go about my shopping adventures. There is also the standard concession-​like stand in which you can buy pretzals, pizzas… things of that nature.
I just absolutely love Target.

This target is not up to par as far as I’m concerned. On my most recent visit, the cashier forgot to give me one of my bags. I called after I was home and realized what had happened. The «front desk» person was not friendly or nice about refunding those items… I’m sorry… sis it my fault that your cashier screwed up? Not happy.
Oh…and the «fresh» food section… I went to buy some beer. I know beer at Target? But they had Great Lakes so why not. BUT, when I got up to check out the beer was expired, they went back to check and they all were all expired.
I like organic milk and that’s partially because the expiration dates are so far out compared to regular. I looked at the expiration dates at this Target, the milk expired in a few days. Organic is usually around a month!

I love all Targets, but I don’t love this layout. I don’t know if its just because I don’t visit this one as often, but I always feel like I’m not sure where stuff is. Either way, I still love them. Great clothing selection for your basic stuff, large grocery section at this location, and still all the great finds you’re used to. This location also has the Starbucks addition.

I stop in here when there are certain things that I need. I’ve never had too much luck with finding anything I need at Target. I recently checked their website for an ice bucket for an upcoming party. There were a few reasonably priced ones on their site and their website said that they had them in stock. Yeah, I checked up and down the kitchen area at the store only to find one that is $ 40. Dont think so. I walked out there again with not finding something. Hence the reason why I very seldom shop at Target.
