The Goat came highly recommend by a friend so I decided to check it out. The atmosphere is pretty nice. Music and noise wasn’t too loud. I sat at the bar, the two bar tenders were average nothing bad about them. I started with the tots and they were pretty tasty, but the price is a bit high. I got the Smokehouse burger as well which was cooked well but a bit smaller than I was expecting. The sweet potato fries were good but not worth the $ 2.50 up charge for them. Overall I would say everything was pretty average, but a little over priced for what it is.

For what it is, we really love it! We live nearby and it’s a great place to go for a good, casual meal. Good drink and cocktail menu. I love their pickle chips and the salads are very good.

Who would have thought this little bar/​restaurant tucked in the middle of an apartment complex would become one our regular «go to» restaurants for casual dining? I love the atmosphere especially on nice days when it’s open to the outside.
The food is typical pub fare but a step above «bar food». My particular favorites are the buffalo chicken wrap and Italian pizza roll appetizer. As other reviewers have noted the service can be a bit «leisurely» at times but it has never been much of an issue.

I love this place! I had been to other locations in the past that were good, but I just love this one. The bar is huge, with plenty of TVs. A great sports bar atmosphere. The can also open the doors and make for an inside/​outside combination which is great as well. The servers are always accommodating and friendly.
The food is also great. I like everything I’ve had. I have to recommend the Farmhouse Tots! Incredible! Also love their buffalo chicken pizza and brunch options! Not to mention they have a Bloody Mary and mimosa bar on (at least) Sunday’s! Their ranch is also worth mentioning.
Great place to go for sports, or even a dinner and drinks! And brunch :)

ok place– nothing special– limited beers, very loud and lacking any real décor — just a basic bar, basic tv’s, etc. Service was ok, food and drinks were good.

This is by and far the best bar/​restaurant in Hilliard! The food never disappoints (trust me try the tots… seriously, try the tots!), the drinks are always poured excellently, they always have a good selection of craft beers. Not to mention they have one of the best selections of Bourbon I have found in this area. The service is amazing! Aaliyah, Amber, Marci, Rickie, Alenni (spelling?) are all absolutely excellent! Rickie is on the ball with quick service and excellent drink suggestions, and Alenni does an AMAZING job with the Bloody Mary bar on Sunday’s. I have never had a bad experience and the music is always fun and keeps it fresh with new and older tunes. I would highly recommend if you haven’t that you give this place a try (seriously TRY THE TOTS!)

The Goat on Hilliard is amazing. I have been 100% impressed on every visit! Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is phenomenal! Marci and Jennifer are some of my consistent waitresses and are so personable and hilarious! I would come back any day just due to the staff. Thank you so much for being such a great restaurant and doing an amazing job hiring!

The food here is pretty good but the service is awful. An hour and a half wait for four burgers on a slow Sunday night? Come on now. We had to keep tracking down our waitress and she seemed less than enthused to wait on us. The tots may be good but I don’t think we will be back.

Excellent atmosphere! Can be a bit yuppy later in the evening but that’s to be expected. The food is always great and they try to shake up the menu every month. Great beer selection as well.

The food and drinks are good. Some of the staff members are HORRIBLE, not friendly, no personailty. Our bartender (Kristen)we had to repeat and ask more than once for our order and it was just on 3 drinks not even food and then she forgot to ring it up and started getting someone else’s stuff. Had to ask for it again and to cash out. Was very slow and then finally said oh we have to change a keg so it will be a few, seriously!!! The other bartender had long red hair was also just rude, not friendly, no smile and no greeting. they were not even busy, I could not imagine what it will be like when it does get busy. They need new bar staff that is forsure.

This is my absolute favorite place to go for drinks and food. Even though a lot of people come here just to drink, the food menu is awesome too. The bartender staff and the servers are always super friendly and willing to go out of their way to accommodate what you need. There is something about their draft beer that tastes so refreshing! It’s also a great place to come just to hang out and play pool or shuffleboard. I always have great experiences here and every time I bring a new friend they are completely impressed! My parents came here once and loved the atmosphere too. I will keep coming back to this Goat!

I met a group of work friends here for an evening… It’s a cute bar in the middle of an appartment complex with exposed work and such. Although they have good drinks (I took the word of my companions), and ok food, I can’t get with this bar. The service is aweful, and the music is far too loud for the type of place it is… and I’m not some ‘old fart’, I LOVE loud music, it just doesn’t match this place.
I may need to give this place, maybe even a different location, another try… I won’t seek this out, but woudn’t turn it down if asked.

Wasn’t sure what to expect. Bar/​restaurant in what seems like a «yuppie» apartment complex. It was outstanding! Cool interior that will lead out to extra cool outdoor patio when the weather warms. Aleila was a wonderful server at the car. Very sweet and personable. Ed, the general manager, introduced himself and really made a great impression. The beer was many and the food, made onsite, was excellent! We will definitely be back! Two 50 something’s that did not feel out of place. Thanks!

I really liked this place when it first opened, but it has gone downhill significantly in the last month or two. First of all, they removed items I liked from the menu and they changed how they make many of the items that are still on the menu and they are not as good as they were before. My husband used to like their cheese pizza, but now it is a gloppy mess with way too much cheese for how little crust there is. Their burgers have gone way down hill as well. I used to be tempted to get takeout here every week or two, but they solved that problem for me.
The prices have never been good either. Nobody wants potato chips over fries with their sandwich or burger, but they upcharge you for fries. Even more for sweet potato fries.
They still draw a crowd, but I’ve noticed it’s people drinking, not eating.

I really like this place. The only thing better than the atmosphere is the super friendly and always helpful staff. They contribute to the upbeat but chill vibe. The food is tasty, cleverly prepared, and comes out fast. They have a great beer selection and an awesome happy hour. I’ll keep coming back!
