Best customer service you will get. Sarah our waitress was on top of things. Scott the manager made this a very personal experience. You will not find better service anywhere. On top of that the food was amazing.

This place is fantastic. The food is amazing and I always overeat. I feel no shame! Seriously, try this place because the food is great. But LOVE this place because the staff is wonderful, friendly and clearly love their jobs. Niki has been our server a few times and she is always genuinely friendly, attentive and helpful.

This is one of the best Greek food places I’ve been to in Columbus! Coming from a Mediterranean background this reminds me of the food I grew up on! Fire Fries are by the best things on the menu!

Great local find!!! The atmosphere is very casual which is great for families or a relaxed date. It doesn’t have a fancy ambiance if that is what you are looking for. There is something on the menu for everyone and prices are affordable! I like the gyro and beef shawarma! The hummus is delicious… I could eat it all the time!!! The greek salad is yummy but could have more toppings… it wasn’t that impressive. I feel the almost 5 star rating is a little inflated… but don’t get me wrong… the food is very good! Definitely try this place!!! This is our go-to spot for a delicious gyro!

Best Greek food around! The servers and the owner are all super nice! The hummus and saganaki are delicious! The kebab combo is my husbands favorite along with the chicken and rice. I love the pastitsio, the moussaka, the shawarma, the Greek salad, and the spicy chicken and mushrooms. Basically you can’t go wrong with about anything there. We have friends who love the Sunday brunch and they go a lot of Sunday’s!

After a recommendation from my(much older) sister, my wife and I decided to enjoy our holiday day off in the way we only new how … lunch out without the kids. As they spent the day in daycare, we decided to try The Olive Tree. I had a Gyro and the wife … ate something. I was too busy eating the Fire Fries to care about anything else going on in the world. If you visit The Olive Tree … FIREFRIES are a must. If you’re over the age of 40, they will do terrible things to your bowels later that night … but so worth it. We will eat here again …

Food, management and service are all superb. My husband and I often come here once or twice a week that’s how much we love it. Sunday’s shakshuka is so delicious as well as their unique Greek an Lox omelettes: so scrumptious. Plus the creamy, flavorful hummus is one of my favorites, served with warm pita bread. Additionally, the manager, Scot Friel, makes you feel at home and like an old friend. The waitresses are all great: friendly, attentive, rendering your likes and often modifying to your liking. Overall this is a fantastic find: one of those restaurants you want to frequent and promote!

Tzatziki is a favorite of mine and here they make it fresh and incredibly delicious. Emily waited on us tonight and was a fantastic hostess. Salmon, chicken and gyros were had by all, as well as the most delightful Mushroom & Barley soup. Yumminess!!! The best of the best in greek cuisine and the staff is always available. The best kept secret in Hilliard is this little gem of a restaurant. We keep coming back… al the way from Reynoldsburg and Pickerington… and brought with us visitors from Newark. Love this place.

The food was wonderful and well priced. The owner spoke with us throughout the night, welcoming us to his restaurant. This is how service should be when you go out to eat. Can’t wait to go back!

This little neighborhood restaurant is wonderfully authentic with a generous selection of menu items representing a true Mediterranean cuisine. We started with a trio of spreads and pita followed by soup, salads and entrees to die for. Our waitress was very knowledgable and made great recommendations for dinner. Though we were stuffed by the generous portions we had to try the homemade baklava and tiramisu. We will be back!

Unlike the other reviews here, he service was the shining star. Our server Nikki was Jonny on the spot all evening. The food on the other hand was striving for mediocrity. We did not over eat, and that had nothing to do with the portion size. An olive and two slices of banana pepper with ranch dressing do not a Greek salad make. The good: The baba was of the best we’ve ever had. Chunky flavorful and delicious. The chicken kabobs were tender and perfectly prepared. The service all around the restaurant seems great. The bad: Everything else. Hummus was watery The pita was doughy Lamb was some how pink and yet still overcooked Who serves ranch dressing with every dish? Likely not come back but has nothin to do with the service.

I gave 4 stars so that I can come back and try more food. I visited The Olive Tree with my daughter, husband and mother in law and we were all pleased with our food choices. I had the falafel wrap with grilled onions and peppers and banana peppers added. It was delicious and I didn’t not miss meat at all! My husband had the gyro burger and gave it a 8⁄10. My mother in law had the gyro salad that she said was delicious. There was a large amount of meat on it and came with a side of pita bread. My daughter had fries and lentil soup that she enjoyed. We also had fire fries and grape leaves for appetizers. I was expecting the fire fries to be more spicy than they were. They were ok but I would probably try another appetizer next time. The waitress/cashier gave a 10% military discount for our tab. I am not sure of her name, the waitress, but she was very patient and friendly. They offer free refills on drinks. I was very pleased with our visit and wish that there were places like this where we live in Texas. I would love to visit The Olive Tree another time before I leave Ohio.

Met a couple of my girlfriends for dinner here last night. This might be my new favorite Mediterranean place in C-bus. Between the four of us we sampled the fire fries(crispy, spicy, hot, hit the spot!), the baba(baba is my second favorite food after phở so I’m picky. This had just the right eggplant consistency. Thick, but not too chunky and had a marvelous smoky flavor), the hummus(smooth and creamy and wonderful), and the spicy feta(a must try!). For dinner I had the chicken shawarma which contains huge chunks of grilled chicken, grilled onions and peppers with a generous moat of hummus served with pita. Clean plate club! I took home a gyro sandwich and baklava to my husband and that was inhaled in about 3 minutes so assuming that was good too.

I LOVED this place. I had their grilled chicken gyro which was excellent. Tip: have them add hummus inside the pita. I really liked their house made sauce that they put inside the pita as well. As a side I had the fire fries. All I can say is WOW. They are French fries with feta cheese and a spicy sauce. The sauce kind of makes you cough when you take a bite but the flavor is amazing. I highly recommend the fire fries. Service was good and the prices were great also. It is in an odd location but they were busy and there is a reason.

Sunday brunch is really great. Special Sunday only menu 10 – 2. Then the regular menu pops up. they take reservations. I’ve had the shakshuka three times. Red sauce is a tad sweet, but it all works great together. I’ve had the dish on visits to Israel and the presentation and taste is very authentic. We also had the challah French toast. Excellent. Service is very attentive and they know their extensive menu.

We had a really awesome experience here. We came in on a Saturday around lunch time. It was a little busy but not super packed. Our waitress was excellent. She was very friendly and attentive. Our food came out quite timely as well. I hadn’t had the chance to eat any Mediterranean food in forever so I was so excited to come here. The food lived up to my expectations. The pita bread was warm and soft. The hummus was creamy and full of flavor. The appetizer was plenty filling for the two of us. I ordered the falafel wrap. The falafel had flavor and tasted fresh. We also ordered fries for my son and they were surprisingly good. Everything was decently priced as well. For both of us to eat and a kid it was around 25. I will definitely be making this place our go to when it comes to Mediterranean food. I cannot wait for our next visit.

I’ve been meaning to make a visit to Olive Tree for a while now, but every time the weekend rolls around, I end up forgetting. I probably wouldn’t have made it this past Saturday either if my first choice was open, but I’m so glad I did. This place rocks. It’s off of Hilliard-Rome Road in a not-so-attractive strip mall, but the inside certainly makes up for the blandness of the outside. Our server was decent; nothing extraordinary, but the food was fantastic. My girlfriend really wanted the saganaki, so we had that first, flames and all, and it tasted pretty amazing. I don’t know if I’ve had it before, and if so, I don’t remember it, but I’ll be getting it again for sure. I ended up getting the spicy gyro, and the girlfriend had a spicy gyro salad. With that, I put in an order of the fire fries. THEYAREAWESOME. The feta, the hot sauce, and the fries themselves were great by themselves, but together, they made the perfect side. I could eat these all day. My spicy gyro had the same house-made gyro sauce, and the meat was great. I could eat spicy gyros all day, and I’m notching this one up there with my Columbus favorites. My girlfriend loved her salad as well, which all came with the house-made gyro sauce. Just a note: the gyro sauce is completely different than the tzatziki sauce. I wasn’t paying attention and asked for extra tzatziki for my gyro. It was still very tasty but just not the same thing. For the quality of food you get, the pricing is very good. The restaurants on the outskirts to me, but if I was in the Hilliard or Dublin area, I’d be here all the time. I’ve noticed at this point that all of the Mediterranean places with awesome spicy gyros are no where close to my house, and that makes me sad. On the other hand, it makes the trip out to them that much more special!
