I had been driving around going to sports stores looking for a pair of grip socks. I’d just about given up when we happened to drive by Aries and stopped on a whim. What a great find! I quickly found what I needed. Since then, I’ve come back with my colorguard daughter and my dancer niece. This is THE one-stop shopping place for girls’ and women’s sports wear. We have purchased water bottles, sports bras, dance wear, running shorts, socks, and shoes here. This place caters to all sports but you won’t find any boys’ gear here. The best way I could describe Aries Apparel is a sportswear boutique for girls. My girls love being able to get all the gear for the activities they’re passionate about, but at the same time feel girly while trying on stuff in the adorable dressing areas with their long purple curtain and sitting in the plush purple seats. Their employees are always helpful and friendly. Sign up for their rewards program. You earn points on purchases and then get discounts for your next visit. You also receive a 20% birthday coupon. I used mine when my niece was buying over $ 100 worth of dance gear, so it really paid off! Now that school is about to start back up, do yourself a favor and quit driving around and trying to find things for your daughters or yourself. Trust me, go to Aries first.

Wow. I just happened to see this place from the road while out on this side of town. I’m so glad I stopped in! It worked out perfectly, I am going rock climbing this weekend and wanted a new pair of climbing pants. I intended on looking up some female friendly stores in Portland to check out, but like I said I’m glad I saw this place! I was immediately greeted and I’m sure looked overwhelmed by the selection of women’s gear. I explained what I was looking for and the fact that I don’t really know what sizes I am anymore. The woman who helped me was so friendly and supportive! It’s weird shopping after losing almost 50lbs and can sometimes be pretty overwhelming trying on tons of sizes, but she had a good eye and helped me find the right pants(under armor), a new awesome sports bra and I even picked up a clearance shirt! I just can’t say enough about the service I received while being here. I wish I had caught her name, but the lady who worked with me was great. Sometimes you just need a second opinion on things. I’ll definitely go back for future sports clothing purchases. I also have to admit it’s nice that it’s an all female store, you don’t have to wade through men’s gear and it’s not like some stores where the majority of the store in men’s gear with a tiny corner of women’s gear.

This store has everything I need! There is a great atmosphere & there is always someone to help me with what I need. They literally have EVERYTHING. It’s definitely my go to place for sports apparel. They even give you discounts for your birthday! They also have a set of items every week that are 20% off. Super convenient.

Discovered Aries Apparel at a softball tournament, and it was great! They have a huge variety of products that athletes need — headbands, exercise apparel, sport-related t-shirts, training shoes, etc., with a nice feminine touch. Service was warm and friendly :-) I recommend Aries Apparel to any female athlete who wants to get quality gear and accessories for their sport!

This is the SPOT for women’s sports gear! The location’s pretty far west, at Tanasbourne, but if you can make it out there, it’s worth the trip. After browsing for a few minutes, a staff member approached and asked me what I was looking for. As soon as I gave her some basic parameters, she immediately flew around the store collecting items that matched and gathering them into a dressing room for me. Needless to say, the service is top-notch at Aries. Their prices vary, but I was surprised at how low the prices were on some of the items I picked up. If you’re a woman looking for sports/outdoor gear, head here first, then if Aries doesn’t get the job done, THEN maybe head a few blocks over to REI. :)

1st stop for any girls sports gear. It was a very positive experience for my girls to see healthy, happy women with positive self-images and natural enthusiasm for sports & fitness flowed freely as we explored new sports attire and equipment. My wife quickly found some great outfits while my girls picked up a variety of things. I have a feeling we will be regulars here as the years pass.

I just want to stress that this store specializes in women’s sports apparel and gear only, which is a very different feel from most of the other places I’ve been to get sports stuff. Sorry guys but sometimes Joe’s and REI can be a little intimidating! It’s girly enough, and still leaves you feeling like a powerful woman. I went in, a little hesitantly, looking for a sports bra designed to support a full-busted woman. And I found some! The woman who helped me was very professional and showed me exactly what I was looking for, answered all my questions, led me to a dressing room designed for queen, and was even nice enough to laugh at my jokes. I didn’t find exactly the right bra for me, but was able to leave a request for a certain type and brand of bra. It didn’t sound like they currently had access to it, which was too bad. I was in awe of their selection of women’s apparel and sports gear. They had softball, volleyball, running, and much more(I think even golf!). It’s an independent, local business, but still captures a very professional feel. I’m not ultra-sporty, but I left with an overall good experience and would refer any active woman there.
