Food is amazing, the real deal is the real deal but they mess up the orders more often than not

I was looking for something similar to in n out and this fast food wasn’t bad at all. Better than McDonald’s or Burger King(I don’t like those two) but not in n out yet. The burger was yummy and I love the fact that they have sweet potatoes!

I really do know better. I dont typically eat fast food. For real. But I have this job that is always sucking up my lunch hour and on this day I had ten minutes to drive from a meeting on Millikan to my office in Hillsboro… unless I gnawed off my own arm(I did consider this) it was going to have to be a drive thru. And I didnt want to eat in my meeting so no salad from Wendys(one of my recent forays into fast food that was edible). Ok. Consider tv highway. All the usual suspects. A lot of no ways for me. I decided on Carls and ordered a chicken club. It said«char grilled». Yup. It was charred all right. the edges of the chicken were incinerated. Just shy of inedible. There wasn’t much I could do. Drive thru. 2 minutes to get to a meeting. I ate it. The bun was wheaty. ok brown. The bacon was passable… too much mayo wth?! Lettuce and tomato ok. A piece of white processed cheese. I pulled that off. I also ordered a small sweet potato fries. I pretended they were nutritious. They were actually hot and crispy and probably had my week’s sodium allowance. $ 1.29. I washed it down with a black rock iced tea. Yes, I was late to my meeting because of that.Please. I needed it. I need portable lunch ideas. I cant keep doing this to myself.

A pretty decent burger joint. My only real complaint was that they didn’t bring ketchup with them with my meal, other than that I was satisfied with my meal.

My husband dropped by yesterday because he was in a hurry! He said that it blew his mind, totally. He has been jonsing to try the Turkey Burger and he said it was excellent, even better than Burgerville, which is his favorite! Moist and flavorful. The fries were blisteringly hot, and salty and divine, he had trouble stopping after eating 12 and throwing the rest out the window for the birds, some lucky birds at that!

I really try hard to avoid fast food. Honest, I make a distinct effort, I swear. Sometimes you just can’t avoid it, however. Tonight was one of those nights. I tried their hand-breaded chicken tenders. 5 of them, to be exact. Along with a few fries. Oh, and a Coke too. All I can say is… yuck. The chicken was fine enough(actually pretty good) but the breading was bad, bad, bad. Not only did it not adhere to the chicken very well, it had a terrible, awful flavor. It tasted like everything else that had been in the fryer that day, including burned french fries, onion rings, fish… whatever had been floating around. Yeesh. I didn’t much care for the fries, either. They’re offering«Natural Cut», skin-on fries nowadays, and they’re going to be easy to pass on next time. 1 star for the speedy, friendly service. 1 star for the *concept* of hand-breaded chicken tenders. 1 star for the Western Bacon Cheeseburger(both regular and Six-Dollar versions, which, while catastrophically bad for you, tastes goooooood). That’s the best I can do.
