I love Wendy’s, the food is good, and it’s pretty cheep, but the one thing I don’t really like, is the fact that they always get my order wrong. Every-single time I go to Wendy’s they always add extra things to my meals.

OMG I ate at Wendy’s.(2.5) This weight watcher’s thing is making my lunch hour more of a challenge than I usually have. The standard things I used to eat driving between meetings(hello, quesdilla from Don Pedro’s) are a little less desirable because they don’t fit in with my new food plan. I needed fruit and veggies and low fat protein and i needed it fast. I was not really close to Burgerville… I knew if I went in the Thai restaurant I’d emerge with noodles… what to do? I had a vague memory of salads at Wendy’s and saw a commercial for a sweet potato there a month or so back(I think I missed that), so I hit the drive thru. I got a chicken berry almond salad for $ 6 or so. Fat free raspberry vinagrette. They give you two packets, I only needed one. The salad was not too bad. Blueberries, strawberry pieces, slivers of almond, chunks of grilled chicken(it tasted a little weird), lettuce, some cheese slivers… workable. It had a little more iceberg than I would eat(but really, I’d choose NO iceberg, so that’s just me maybe), but it was decent. What next? McDonald’s? Sheesh, I hope not.

Conveniently located in the strip mall at the corner of 185th and Baseline in Hillsboro. It’s a typical Wendy’s and as such offers some healthier alternatives to the usual burger fare. For the convenience, you can’t beat their chili and the apple pecan chicken salad with slices of green apple and pomegranate vinaigrette rivals finer dining establishments.

Just your typical Wendys. The food is hot and fresh. If they get busy, it can take a bit to get your order.
