We’ve been there a few times and the service was about what I expect it to be; it’s very good but it’s not like walking into Hooters and I’m fine with that. Contrary to a previous reviewer though, the lady at the front counter is not high and is actually very nice; she recommended the blueberry and chocolate combination and it is a winner.

Well, I grew up coming here when it was Baskin Robbins and now that it’s changed, not liking it anymore. The ice cream is good but the service makes me never want to return. Unfortunately, my son loves the ice cream so we keep coming back and I tolerate the obvious, «I hate my job and serving customers so I’ll ignore you until you stand there staring me down and not smile or be friendly in any way. Oh, and I’ll also play on my phone unprofessionally while you’re obviously waiting to order.» The first time, I thought it was a fluke. The second, third, and fourth time… well… You catch my drift. No matter how much my son begs we will not be giving them anymore money to be treated like dirt. I thought it was just that I was Hispanic and they didn’t like me, then a white man came in and they were equally rude or rather, apathetic towards him as well. Buyer beware and go at your own risk.

Solid 4 stars. The ice cream I tried — French vanilla, chocolate, coffee — was yummy. Employees were helpful and friendly. I got what I was looking for at this ice cream shop.

Delicious ice cream! Pleasantly surprised. They serve Alpenrose and Umpqua ice cream, and everyone in our group was very happy with their selection. Clean, bright atmosphere, and very good service!

I went in to buy a ice cream cake two girls working at counter tried to ask questions regarding sizes prices etc. and both girls gave me the look as if to say we hate our job, we know nothing about the cakes sizes and prices, and don’t really care. My 15 year old daughter when we walked out said she was sure they were both high on something. Next time I will buy my ice cream cake from either Cold Stone, or the Baskin Robbins by the Fred Meyers in Hillsboro even if I have to go out of my way. The next day after buying the cake I was looking at my bank account and noticed they had two pending charges on my account one for the cake amount and one for $ 10.00 more than the cake amount so two charges. I called their store got some girl name Adrienne, who sounded very much overworked and underpaid she said I have to research this blah blah blah, she never stopped talking but wasn’t doing what was necessary to take care of the customer, so then I get a call from the owner Jim, oh boy talk about a jerk. I told him for my 40 minutes of being on the phone with my bank trying to get MY money back that they took in error that the least he could do is credit me the $ 27.99 for the cake I did purchase if he wanted me to ever come back, so he agrees to that, and then calls me back today to say I got your money refunded, I said and my purchase for the headache, he says no I didnt do that cause you were mean to my employee blah blah blah, how unprofessional on his part, I will make sure everyone I know in this area which I have been around here for many years know not to go to his business, he does not care about the customer.

Prime location just across from Shute Park and the Aquatic Center. A rebranding took place in 2014, to switch over from Baskin Robbins to a locally based ice creamery serving Alpenrose and Umpqua ice cream, as well as ice cream cakes and specialty items. The store is clean and the employees have been friendly and efficient. And if you want a drink to go with your treat, they serve West Coast Coffee. You can also pick up a tub of ice cream to-go. Not the most expansive or unique ice cream store, but it certainly covers all the bases. Summer hours are 10am — 11pm.

Baskin Robins with Umpqua ice cream and a different name. Went in on a busy sunny day and the girl seemed to be handling the mob of about 8 children including myself quite well. I was the only one over the age of 18 that didn’t have a child with me. Addicted to ice cream much?

YUM! This ice cream is creamy and delicous. It’s so good my husband and I started going once a week. Much better than Baskin Robins, more creamy and more flavor and not sickening sweet. I am not sure what their secret is but it is very addictive and there are many flavors to choose from. I especially like ordering the child size scoops so I can try many flavors and save money too.

Umpqua ice cream. Think it use to be a Baskin Robins. Friendly service and convenient location.
