Great place for breakfast and lunch. Bagels are baked fresh every day and served warm and delicious at reasonable prices. Sandwich wraps are best in the area. Delivery service always on time and never disappoints.

This place is awful. There are millions of bagel places in Boro and I would never recommend anyone to go there. I went to get two bagels this morning. They were not busy and it took forever and when I went to eat my bagel there was barely any cream cheese where I even paid extra for vegetable cream cheese. When I say barely any all you taste is the bagel. I am very disappointed in this place because bagel bop used to be one of the best bagel places.

Walked in for the first time yesterday pretty early in the morning. I was the only one there so the service was fine. I ordered a wheat bagel w/veggie cream cheese. The bagels were«fresh out the oven» and still hot. SCORE!!! Got to the car and tore into the bagel… why is it stale and crunchy??? And why does it taste more like a roll then a bagel ??? Very weird bagel, never want it again. 2 stars because the coffee was decent and the service was quick.

Now before I review let me just tell you I have extremely high expectations when it comes to bagels. After experiencing an over-toasted burnt bagel at Bagelicious in the ShopRite plaza, I decided to go here for my next bagel adventure. My experience here was fairly average. They take your order and then you wait while standing while they prepare your food or you can sit at one of the 2 tables they offer. The standing room is awkward but the order taking and waiting areas are the same. You frequently have to ask the people around you if you are in line or not. It is almost impossible to get out of people’s way when you are waiting as well so you are constantly moving around trying to find a good waiting location. This place is not big so this is the main issue. The bages are pretty good for NJ. They did not burn my bagel like Bagelicious. The selection is limited. luckily my favorite bagel is everything but I wish they offered a whole wheat option. The cream cheese option is also limited. I prefer pimento but when I go here I choose vegetable. They are fairly quick with your order. Much quicker than Bagelicious. If its selection you want though, go to bagelicious for bagels 4 u.

Bad bagels and bad service. I waited forever to have a bagel toasted, which must be one of the simplest tasks to perform. A bagel was lukewarm and stale. The service was slow and inattentive.

These are not bagels. Yes they might be round, but they taste more like rolls. Bagel BOP(the prior bagel establishment that occupied this site) had much better bagels. I will not be returning.

This used to be Bagel BOP(Baked on Premises). It used to be run by a very nice woman. It used to be staffed by very friendly your girls. They used to know what a bagel was. They used to make great bagels. Note I say used to. Unfortunately it’s now AWFUL! They have no clue what a bagel is. And, they are not friendly. I have been here only once since it changed hands. I will NEVER be back. Such a shame. Now, there are NO good bagel places in this area.

Bagel BOP is now called Bagel Bistro. I don’t know if it changed ownership or anything, but to me it’s still«Bagel BOP» — and the only thing I’m familiar with there are the breakfast sandwiches. If you get breakfast sandwiches from McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts or Quick Chek, please take a break from reading this for a moment to slap yourself in the face. Then get in your car and go to Bagel BOP/Bistro and get yourself a REAL breakfast sandwich. I HIGHLY recommend the following: porkroll, egg & cheese on a roll with a little salt, pepper & ketchup. I agree that bacon is God’s gift to man, but get the porkroll — you’re from NJ and you’re getting a breakfast sandwich. If it doesn’t have porkroll on it then you need to slap yourself again. And bagels are cool & all, but not for breakfast sandwiches — they’re too hard & require too much chewing. Let your teeth sink into a nice soft roll. Trust me. Get the exact sandwich I described above — it’ll be the best breakfast sandwich you’ve ever had in your life.

I’ve lived in Hillsborough pretty much my whole life. Bagel BOP(doesn’t matter what it’s called now, it’s still Bagel BOP and always will be) has the best bagels in town. I know it changed hands, but I’ve never noticed any difference in the quality of the bagels.

Unfortunately Bagel BOP was sold to a new owner and he has changed the name. It was a very good bagel place and I wish it was still open since it is right down the street from my house. New place is called Bagel Bistro. It is good, but service and food aren’t as good as Bagel BOP.

Bagel BOP is a staple of Hillsborough. Their bagels are fresh and tasty and their prices are lower than the other bagel shop nearby(206 next to Taco Bell) that hasn’t been there for quite as long. The only negative review that I have is that I had a blueberry crumb muffin the other day and it was terrible. It was bland and tasted like the tin that they baked it in. So, as long as you stick with bagels, you’ll enjoy what they have to offer!

O Bagel BOP, I dream of you from afar. OK, I suppose it’s possible that Bagel BOP has declined in quality, as I haven’t lived in Hillsborough in a while. But they just don’t make bagels like this up in Boston. When I was a kid, we’d walk a few miles to get to Bagel BOP during summer vacations. Their bagels were always so good and fresh. I long for the Sunday mornings where my dad would come home with a dozen bagels, piping hot, and the cream cheese would start to melt almost immediately upon spreading it. Of course, I’d use that as an excuse to slather it with more cream cheese.
