I am a regular here…

I come here for dinner every Friday after work. It is my favorite sub shop. The staff is always very friendly, the food is fresh and the portion size is generous. Their subs hit the spot every time.

This place has the best subs, they cut the meat when you order it’s not precut crap like a lot of other places and they use top quality meats and cheeses. This place does subs the way you remember them before all the chain places. I can’t recommend this place enough, I’ve been to 3 of their locations and all of them have been equally amazing. The only down side is the closest one is 40 minutes from my home, but it’s totally worth the drive.

I’ve been here SO many times I can’t even keep count, and for good reason! I usually get the roast beef & cheese sub (which never ever disappoints). Tons of meat, always fresh, and you can choose from 100 different topping options (I’m serious — there are a lot). I’ve been to the other Just Subs locations but this one is the closest to my house, and I love seeing familiar faces. The staff is so welcoming, and man do they move QUICK! The line is pretty long on the weekends. I’m talking out the door long. but you’ll be in and out in a few minutes. Great job guys, keep it up! PS: They are huge supporters of the community, which is always a nice touch :)

Hands down, favorite sub place to go to. Everything is super fresh and the prices are fair. The staff are super efficient and nice. Small eating area but I love getting my subs from here. A definite must eat!

As good a sub place as there is. Meat and cheese is sliced fresh. Friendly staff. Reasonably prices. The half sub is almost a foot and most in the $ 5 – 6 range. Great place.

This is easily my favorite sub shop. I’ve been eating here for my entire life. Quality inexpensive subs. Can’t beat it!

Just Subs is one of NJs best places to get an amazing sandwich. I’ve been to this location, and the Clinton location. The quality and service has always been top notch. Get the Italian with «the works» and the crushed red cherry peppers. That is my standard and it can’t be beat.

I used to love this place. Seems in the past few years they don’t put meat on the subs anymore. It had been 2 years since i tried them and I figured I would give them another chance. My experience was the same as in the past. I got the Italian combo. I hate to say it but Subway puts more meat on their subs. The tomato on the sub was thicker than all the meats combined. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they had good bread.

I’m so disappointed. I go here often these days, as my son enjoys the sandwich i get. the last two times we went, we both got diarrhea. these past two times the only difference was i got tomatoes on the sandwich. this last time, you could tell the tomatoes were bad. these tomatoes were noticeably dried out with a very funky smell and taste. any food handler would be able to tell. so why they were put out for customer consumption„ I’m not quite sure, but I’m thoroughly dissatisfied and will not return. also the bread was so stale it was extremely hard to chew through.

It goes without saying in Hillsborough that Just Subs is one of the greatest sub shops to ever grace the planet. It would seem that other areas of central NJ feel the same way, as they’ve got five additional locations; most of which (I believe) have been open for 10+ years.
Just Subs takes a no BS approach to sandwich making with their assembly line style production.
Station 1 — Meats & Cheeses
Station 2 — Toppings
Station 3 — Cashier
This helps to keep the customers flowing in and out quickly and allows for each sandwich artist to focus on completing specific tasks efficiently.
Some excellent choices are «The Big Dave», Meatball Sub, Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad Sub, Turkey Sub.
My favorite, however, is a creation all of my own making:
–Toasted Roast Beef
–Cheddar (horseradish or garlic cheddar if avail)
–Onions
–BBQ & Horseradish Sauce
I come here maybe a hundred times a week and have never once had a bad experience in my life.

Sooo much food for your money. I got a half of a sub, chips, and drink for less than 8 dollars. Fresh cold cuts, fresh bread, fast service. I go to the one in clinton as well 5 stars!

I love this place. I’ve only had the opportunity to go a few times, but every time is worth it. I was there a few days ago, got a sub to go. They draw a really big lunch crowd, but their workers are always on the ball. They handled everything perfectly. Fast yet efficient service. Not to mention, their subs are out of this world. Can’t wait to go back.

Just the best… a Hillsborough classic.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid with my dad. I always have to stop in for a sub when I’m passing through. Always excellent!

I ate here after school everyday in high school. After moving I make a point to get a sub whenever I’m in the area visiting family. Staff is awesome and the food is by far the best quality and freshest around! This is a must for lunch if your in the area.

i was sad when i moved from franklin park to hillsborough… b/​c i was leaving tastee subs behind.
but this place totally reminds me of tastees… similar set up. they cut the meat as your order your sandwhich. so none of the pre-​sliced meats to make your subs.
only thing missing was the red pepper sandwhich spread.
rolls are fresh… ½ size is plenty for one person
this is my new go to sub shop!

I’ve lived all over the country & this is still my favorite sub shop for a roast beef sandwich. I prefer them with provolone cheese. Don’t miss it if you’re in town!!!

Best subs I’ve ever had in my life. Their products are so fresh and delicious that I haven’t gone to a Subway or Quiznos in YEARS!

At first the prices may through you off, but trust me, the half size is just as big as a Subway «foot long» but actually has meat & toppings on it!
If you’re feeling like a Viking, the full size will be more than enough, or you can store it as a later meal cause it’s gonna be just as good if not better the second time around. The shops small if you’re planning to hang around and eat up there but the staff is extra friendly and on a warm day, hanging out front is always the best way to go.
