Best sushi I’ve ever had! My boyfriend introduced me to Lee’s a little while back. Honestly i was very hesitant because I am picky about where I get my sushi from, but boy was I wrong! Lee’s is a very comfortable place to go and enjoy fresh sushi. Jay makes all of the sushi himself and does a fantastic job. Their rolls are very filling and tastes great. All around best sushi place I have ever been to. My only complaints would be that the service could be a little more attentive, and the rolls could be tighter due to the fact that they sometimes fall apart. Other then that tho I really have nothing negative to say!

Portions are small. Food taste good but too expensive to my criteria. Place looks nice and clean.

Food is excellent but they need more preparers. More than once we have waited 45 minutes for our order. Get more help!

The sushi is pretty good although sometimes it falls apart due to looseness. I highly recommend ordering take out so the wait isn’t very long. This review and the two stars deal mainly with the dine in service. I learned the hard way by dining in one evening at around 6:30PM hoping to catch a movie at 9:15 down the street. We weren’t served right away which we didn’t mind since the place was completely filled. Finally after around fifteen minutes, we were asked what drinks we wanted. We had already chosen our appetizers by that point so we ordered the drinks and starters. We received the food and drinks promptly but had to ask the manager up front for eating utensils and plates. We ate and finished everything by 7:30 and another fifteen minutes passed before they asked us for our entrée selections. I would have waved down our waitress but she was no where to be seen. At this point many of the patrons had left so there was really no excuse that we had to finish our appetizers and then wait to order our entrée. We ordered 5 rolls at 7:45 and waited. and waited. and waited. The place had cleared out and the sushi maker was joking around and laughing in the back. No one came over to see how we were doing(very hungry at this point and annoyed). Another family next to us were also waiting and getting impatient. They had only ordered sushi platters for entrees and they had been there for about an hour with only water. The dad was getting impatient, looking around for service and speaking loudly about his anger. Very awkward… Finally at 8 they got their food and I quickly asked the waitress about our food. She said it would be available soon and apologized for the wait. Finally the five rolls came at 8:30. Needless to say eating the rolls and then paying for our bill neatly ran through the movie’s start time. While the waitress gave a lot of apologies, we didn’t even get a discount for any of the delays. This was a Saturday evening so maybe the other days of the week won’t be so slow in service. I also sincerely hope it was a fluke and they were short staffed or something since they are all very pleasant and friendly people otherwise.

Great place. I love there Spicy dragon roll and tempura shrimps. They have very friendly staff. The place is usually crowded on Fridays. Don’t forget to bring bottle of wine

Initial response: The ambiance is nothing special — minimal décor and awkwardly quiet soft rock/light fm music. The only menu to look at was the one taped to the front desk(so much pressure to order as they stand there and stare at you :\). Eventually I chose the Sushi and Sashimi lunch special. PROS — It was very reasonably priced. The service was quick — I did take-out and it took a little over 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly. You get both a soup and salad with the lunch special rather than having to choose like other places(the miso soup was good). CONS — I got the whole butt of the lettuce in my salad so there wasn’t much salad to eat. Fish wasn’t as fresh as other reviews suggest it to be and it was butchered pretty poorly. The sushi rice was bland and definitely under-cooked. This review may sound harsh but I’m just very passionate about sushi! However, I’m hoping my experience was just an anomaly as it sounds like from other reviews this place is usually pretty decent.

I eat here regularly at least once a week. This is a great place for basic sushi cuisine. Nothing fancy but always fresh sushi(most important) and ALWAYS friendly service. Good sized portions at very reasonable prices and very accommodating to special requests. Definitely recommended.

Came here for dinner and found it slightly overpriced… being I can get a lot more at an ayce in Princeton or Somerville. But this is a great place for a sushi lunch! For under $ 8… I got two rolls, salad, and soup. I got a spicy yellowtail and spicy salmon roll. Both were fresh and delicious. This will be my go to lunch spot when I need my sushi fix.

Nothing outrageous that you won’t find at most other sushi places, but the fish was fresh, service was attentive, and rolls were large. Décor is minimal, but if you’re there for fish, who needs fancy walls, amiright?

came here with my boyfriend and his parents. I was pleasantly suprised to see that it wasn’t only just sushi, but also a wide variety of Korean food we ordered a huge sashimi boat and then some other dishes(bibimbop, handroll etc) I was pretty impressed w all the side dish service that comes out before the food. it wasn’t just the regular banchan, but things like seafood pancakes, clamfried rice, miso soup nd seaweed salad, things u would have to pay for as extra apps. definitely coming here again when were. back in the area.

The sushi was fantastic and fresh. Spicy tuna could have been spicier, but that’s me being an ass. Iso Maki, spicy tuna, Christmas, and volcano rolls were wonder. Miso soup was excellent as well.

Consistently delicious sushi & excellent service! Perfect for casual dining with a friend. –The Occasion: I had a sushi craving, so I googled the closest restaurant and came across Lee’s Sushi on 206. Ever since I tried it, I make it a point to order a few times a month from Lee’s. I normally order edamame, miso soup and a Philadelphia roll. –The Atmosphere: Comy & casual. –The Service: If you decide to sit in and eat, the waiters/waitresses are very polite. They come by a few times during the meal to make sure that everything is okay & remove the dishes as you finish. They top off the water when it gets low, which I like. –The Menu: A very nice & standard sushi menu — an appetizer section, teriyaki, tempura, noodles and more. Yummm. –The Food: Simply delicious. The hot miso soup hit the spot! The Philadelphia roll was perfectly rolled with smoked salmon, cream cheese wedge and avocado. The edamame isn’t salted — or at least not heavily — very enjoyable! –The Total: The price is right. I most recently ordered pick-up, so the total was about $ 11– which was perfect to me. –The Experience: Eat in, take out, it’s always a great experience. Everyone is polite and genuinely happy, and the food is just perfect. I love that they are open late — 10pm weekdays, 10:30 on Saturday, 9:30 Sunday. I highly recommended Lee’s Sushi for a delicious roll or two!

I love Lee’s Sushi! I eat sushi at least a few times a week and have been to some of the best sushi places on the East and West coasts. This is a great option for casual sushi or take-out. The fish is very fresh, prices are reasonable and it is served quickly. Sometimes, the small restaurant gets busy so the best service is at the sushi bar.

Our family enjoys eating at Lee’s Sushi — we’ve come here many times. They have some of the freshest sushi in Central NJ! I highly recommend getting the dinner boxes, they are the best deal(you get sushi rolls, salad, soup, tempura shrimp/veggies, fruit for ~$ 15). I’ve had all-you-can-eat sushi at other local restaurants, and the quality here is much better, and you can get just as full for a similar amount of money. As much as I like the owners, I must say that the service is usually on the slow side since they only have one sushi chef(who is also the owner). I recommend that you dine here if you love good sushi — but but brace yourself for a bit of a wait!

I am a frequent visitor to Lee’s Sushi, usually at least twice a week. I have always been impressed with the quality of the food, and I enjoy the service as well. The owner, Jay Chung, is very hospitable as well as an excellent sushi chef. His wife Joyce is frequently there as a hostice/server/restaurant manager and always very pleasant. The wait staff, Dan, Mike and Pauline are always pleasant and attentive. I always look forward to my visits to Lee’s Sushi and I would encourage any of you to visit Lee’s. You will not be disappointed! Glenn

Miso soup tasted fresh, the usual ginger dressing on iceberg lettuce with a slice of tomato was very tasty relative to some of the other sushi places around here. Comfortable, quiet place. Sashimi wasnt super high quality but tasted fresh and was well cut. Dont get the beef negimaki thing, just a pile of overcooked mincemeat wrapped around a scallion coated in teriyaki(Their teriyaki sauce here has a great taste and texture though) Green dragon roll had tasty warm eel and a generous helping of tobiko and the iko maki(3 fish roll) was good too. Tangy mayonnaise in the middle. Not bad.
