Very friendly reception the moment you walk in the door. The ladies behind the counter will help you if you look like you need help. Which we did. There’s a sign on the wall that’s all the fried stuff and then the sign above behind the cashier is all raw where they will cook it for you in whatever style you like. You get four to choose from, but the most popular is Cajun which is what we chose. We ordered the crab legs, lobster tail, shrimp, clam and mussel option. But we subbed the mussels for crawfish. Check out the photo of our«platter». I thought it was a party platter. Lots of food. And it only cost $ 40. The food was great. I will definitely come back.

Sooooo good! Had the jerk tilapia, Cajun shrimp platter. The fish, shrimp, potatoes and broccoli were awesome. The corn was meh, but I was so full didn’t care. Hubby had the king and snow crabs. Said he’d get the king again, skip the snow crab. Considering what you’re getting, priced very well. Carry out only.

This place is really good and very inexpensive for seafood. I got the shrimp with a lobster tail and was very impressed with the size of lobster tail and the Cajun seasoning used. It was all very delicious just for $ 17.

This Take out restaurant is very new with great customer service, but I am a seafood junkie. I had the shrimp dinner; the shrimp still had the shell on it and the the veggies were something I could of easily prepared at home. If I myself could not cook then I may have been impressed but since I have eaten at virtually every seafood restaurant in the Chicagoland area this place is not in my top 10 or even top 20

I always read reviews before I try a restaurant for the first time. Some of the reviews were good, and some were bad. I had a craving for seafood, and this location is a lot closer than the one on the west side, so I decided to go here, even though I saw some bad reviews. I read that this location is worse than the location on the west side when it came to the quality of food. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was! I also didn’t have to fear my safety or watch my purse, back, or the riff raff around me because there wasn’t any. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the cashier. She asked me was it my first time there. Great customer service! I couldn’t decide if I wanted the crab legs or the lobster tail, so I got both with the veggies. I liked the fact that they saran wrap your container so nothing won’t leak or fall out. I didn’t like the price, it is high, but that’s expected for seafood. I was anxious to get home to see if it was worth the price. I got home and dug in. Those bad reviews were wrong. The food was delicious! I noticed that they gave me plenty of butter and the food was seasoned very very well! The crab legs and lobster tail wasn’t dry and was full of flavor. The veggies melted in your mouth and the corn was extra tender. Definitely more flavorful than the Madison St location! The reason why they got 4 stars is because they could’ve gave me more veggies for the price I paid. Other than that, I wouldn’t change a thing. I will return when I can splurge $ 20-$ 30 again!

My salmon was overcooked and after two bites I didn’t touch it again and threw that part away… you just lost two stars already. However those were the BEST vegetables I’ve had in a long time. I don’t even like eating broccoli and that was the first thing that was gone from my plate. The shrimp were good but had to peel them. The season on them were good where I would eat it again. Had gotten tilapia on the side. It wasn’t overcooked like my salmon, but doubt I order it again. You can order by the pound or grab a STEAMED seafood platter meal that comes with 3 vegetables: broccoli, corn & potatoes. Price range $ 10-$ 60(but the average is $ 15)You’re also given the option to add onto the platter I actually see this more as a healthier option vs. Captain B’s a few blocks down in Bellwood. I’ll stick with the shrimp and hope a few months from now the salmon becomes better. This is the 2nd Seafood Junction. The first one is in Chicago on Madison seems to have mix reviews based on being good but bad customer service. Also notice people talking about safety issues at the Madison location. Technically this seafood junction is in Hillside, but across the street is Bellwood, but doubt anyone is really worried about safety issues over here. This one opened up around 6÷15÷2015. Hopefully this place stays as the last three restaurants at this exact same spot has come and gone in a matter of MONTHS! Although I’ve only been here twice. That’s one more than the other three spots that was here so I guess that’s a good thing.

I stopped in on a Friday and I wasn’t sure what to expect. It a new place and i pass bt on the way to work. But the lovely young lady at the counter explained the procedure. I was pleasantly surprised at how organized everything was. I ordered and waited. Everything was cooked to order and nothing deep fried. So far it was organized, it was super clean, and healthy? I couldn’t wait to get my food. I ordered the salmon and shrimp combo Cajun style. It came like a clambake– potatoes and corn. It was so fresh and delicious. How could I have passed this place and not known. I already planning my next visit. I
