America’s Mattress

Sad shop with poor quality goods and no conscience — Shop elsewhere unless you want poor quality goods at really high prices. Sales people and managers spin a «good con» and over promise quality and «years and years of service» from their products which cost more than everywhere else. I bought here, unfortunately, after much deliberation, and after much coaching from «Manager Dave», choosing one of their high priced «deluxe» futon sofa beds, «mission style» Hardwood oak frame with supposedly a «professional «joined frame and «deluxe» microfiber cover, with inner spring mattress. Bought mostly on Dave’s representations of stellar quality and comfort, durability.
2 and a half years later, sofa has been completely unusable and out of service 6 (SIX!) times, for months altogether each time. Three frames and two mattresses later, I am now stuck with yet another broken frame. Same joins provided the breaking point on all three, which are nothing more than machine cut «zig zags» wood– glued together in cheap, poor quality construction. The cover is literally stapled on, and staples have torn through the material leaving large holes in the cover, twice!
They replaced under warranty, sure, .frames covers etc. but they replaced with the same JUNKY stuff.
The latest frame is about six months old and the store and parent company have just ignored my calls to tell them it too, is broken, just like the others, all in the same place (which makes four frames, IF they replace again which is not looking likely.)
By the way this futon sofa is not used for much sleeping and receives no hard use, no kids, etc. and only occasional guest use — a few times a month. A total rip off! Headed for the dump, and it was not cheap! I rue the day I plunked my visa down to buy it.
Promises of quality at America’s Mattress are, simply put, just lies. Take your money to Sears or Macy’s.

We got our new bed here and the saleswoman was friendly and answered our questions patiently. Delivery was the next day which was awesome since we were so over the airbed.
