WOW, what an upgrade from their other store! Was blown away by ALL the new stuff and the variety of all the outdoor toys I wanted… even guns and ammo! All the stuff you need for offshore or on shore fishing.
Went there for rod repairs, and they couldn’t do it for the right price, but I understand where they were coming from. No BS. Just right stuff and right answers. I appreciated that.
I am from the mainland, but felt right at home but one huge downside (not really). They didn’t have the size of the «S. Tokunaga Store» shirt I wanted… that will force me to come again next time I’m in Hilo!

This store rivals POP and West Marine on Oahu. It depends what you’re looking for. They have a lot of sporting goods including guns, surfboards, etc. The service is also excellent. Even Mrs. Tokunaga will greet you at the front door! Their shirts are really nice and reasonably priced. This is smart because it is free advertisement for them. Prices are very reasonable!

I like the fact that they moved to a different location and into their own building. It’s like 100 times bigger than their previous shop.
They have fishing supplies, firearms, ammo, and among other things for the outdoor enthusiast. They also have a huge supply of Hydro Flasks too!

First time to the new store. A variety of sporting good supplies. Too bad the blue and red tokunaga shirts are out of the sizes I wanted or it would’ve been 5stars. Easy to find and lots of parking.
