Fantastic waverunner rental experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful, great price, and a MUST do if you’re looking for fun and adventure on HHI!
Ps, I recommend buying the goggles or at least wearing sunglasses. The staff doesn’t push them on you, which is nice, but you will get water in your eyes!

My mom and I were treated to extremely painful saltwater facials courtesy of our $ 128 H2O waverunner rental. When we checked in, the young woman asked if we wanted to buy goggles for $ 5. I didn’t see why, so I said no thanks. Boy, that was a huge mistake. Why didn’t that girl insist? Why don’t they have a bucket of goggles you can borrow when you put on your life vest!?! We simply couldn’t take the pain of the salt water flung into our eyes, and we had to stop early. The staff seemed like they couldn’t care less when I complained after.
They get two stars because the guy on the boat that followed us out stayed near us and made me feel somewhat safe in case something happened.

While in Hilton Head the hubby booked for us to parasail as a family! Can we say fun! We booked a 8:00am appointment and when we got to the booth we were greeted by the desk person. She was very cheerful and had out appointment info in front of her. After we signed our waiver forms she asked us to walk down the silver ramp and wait for our crew. Since we checked in so early we didn’t have to share the boat with anyone else. #winning After waiting a few minutes our crew came over and asked us to board the boat. The boat started moving then we were off! We had a driver and person that assisted us with our gear. He gave us a quick tutorial and it was time to go! My husband and daughter went up first for 13 minutes then my sister in law and I. It was the most amazing feeling ever —and I’m not a fan of heights. We saw a dolphin while we were in the sky which was cool! The crew was super nice and gave us some info about the area. When we came down we got splashed a little into the water which was so much fun! The only reason they get a four is because of the price. This is my first time parasailing but I’ve done a few boat activities that ran longer than 30 minutes and were cheaper. Other than that amazing experience and I would so recommend them!

We opted for taking out our own boat for a few hours and seeing what we can find and are so happy we did! For only $ 250, my husband and I had a lovely little boat that could hold up to 8 comfortably. As we were not sure the weather would hold, we chose only a two-​hour rental, which is their minimum, but found it ample time for multiple dolphin encounters and a nice «look-​see» around Daufauskie Island. We had great instruction and were provided a map of areas to avoid running aground on sand bars, etc. Being able to go were we wanted and stay in areas of particular dolphin activity was a high-​point of our most recent Hilton Head trip. It’s worth doing at least once!
