Thought it was a joke how rude the lady was on the phone. But I may have miss dialed to dicks last resort. The delivery guy left a voicemail of him swearing in my phone. And I ordered a chicken parm and got a chicken cutlet with no sauce. But I’ll never deny good food when I find it. And they have good food. So I’de go back because this is mass. And mass is full of assholes like them and you can’t let assholes hold you back from good stuff.

One of the best place to stop for lunch. Service is great just like the food. If you are having a party give them a call and they will hook you up with everything.

They deliver! This is an above-average place for pizzas, subs, salad, wings. Most of the menu tends toward«greasy» with choices like pizza and subs, but I’ve found a healthy option: the Greek salad with grilled chicken is healthy, flavorful, and light! I like this place a lot and plan to order from them often.

It’s too bad that their food is so good. Otherwise, we would stop going all together. They are rude on the phone when you call, as if they’ve never had a phone order before. It’s always such an effort. Another time they gave our order to somebody else and claimed we never ordered from them. It wasn’t until somebody in back came around and said he messed up that the lady stopped rudely telling us that she never had an order by that name and we imagined that we had called them. The funny part is that three weeks later we came in and they couldn’t find our order but then have us somebody else’s(and told us they were doing so) because it was close enough. That said, the food is great and it is a nice delivery option. Just expect the customer service of a glacial boulder along with a 40% chance that your order is misplaced or wrong.

Advertise that they are open until 10pm and do delivery until 10pm. Completely false. The 2 times in 6 months I have tried to order from them they have closed early. Back on 5÷7÷13 they had turned the oven and fryolators off at 9pm so couldn’t get pizza or anything hot. The 3 employees working were unbelievably rude when I asked why everything was turned off early. Tonight, called at 9:26pm and was told delivery was done for the night even though I was looking at their website that advertises delivery until 10pm. The employee Diane, changed her answer when I called her out on the false advertising. Too little too late. Not worth it to spend my money here when employees are rude and change the hours and policies to suit their needs. Food is good but not worth the aggravation of having to play guessing games as to whether I can place an order at night.

Tried this unassuming little downtown pizza and sub shop based on recommendations from longtime Hingham residents and happily can confirm the Galley cranks out first class pies! The crust is a medium thickness that has just a bit of chew to it with a nicely balanced sauce. No particular herb crowds out the other flavors here. Cheese was generous and a proper ratio to the crust and other toppings. Over a three day period, I tried the linguiça, meat lover and alfredo(a variation on white pizza) and found all perfectly delicious. Care has been taken to select high quality toppings so each contributes a distinctive flavor to the pie. The linguiça was concentrated and slightly salty(which worked well because the rest of the pizza itself was not); the bacon /pepperoni /ground meat each added a subtle but distinctive flavor to the meat lover; and the alfredo was creamy and satisfying. This is food done right. Service was fast and precise –I ordered a pizza for pickup at 9:15PM and it was coming out of the oven at exactly 9:14PM. The restaurant is small, neat and clean. Prices are very reasonable. Ample parking. Overall, my new go-to place for pizza in Hingham, and will update the review after trying the subs.

Being from NYC we appreciate good pizza, and until last night were woefully underwhelmed with the selection on the South Shore. Ordered five pies from Pizza Galley for a small party last night, and the staff was friendly on the phone, delivered right on time, and the pizza was good. Really good, actually, and we will definitely be back again. Five pies for just over $ 50 is a solid deal, and well worth it in my opinion.

Sub Galley Pizza Galley, whatever. Just know it is good. Ok. I am from Chicago, therefore, I am a pizza snob. This place has the honors of being the only pizza joint in my direct dial on my home phone. Why? Because the owner makes his own dough. I saw him. He’s very nice and even gives lessons in making homemade pizza dough. Also, the sauce doesn’t upset my stomach. And the prices are good. And the sandwiches are good. And it’s clean. Small, but clean. It’s not like the pizza I grew up on, but I have accepted that I must return to Chicago for that.

Best meatball subs in the world. I’ve been getting them for thirty years. Good quality rolls. Still prefer Crow Point for pizza.

When I want pizza, I dream of a sub galley pizza… feta, tomatos, and onions. Great crust, always hot out of the oven, and so cheap! The salads are fresh too– delicious little add on for your meal :)

Summary: Quality Pizza in Hingham. More: The Pizza at the Pizza galley reminds us of a good new york slice. It has a well done outer crust /bottom but enough dough inside to ensure you aren’t eating only crispy bits of crust. We didn’t discover Pizza Galley until recently but it ranks high on our list when our taste wanders in that direction. The Cheese and Margarita Pizza’s are both very good choices. Salads are of a good size and have always been fresh. The staff at Pizza Galley is very friendly. We had one issue where we ordered a take out pizza and it wasn’t done with the right toppings. They quickly offered to make us another or to change the amount they charged our card. The Pizza Galley /Sub galley store backs up onto the train tracks and is located very close to the downtown Hingham commuter rail stop(across the parking lot from the station). There are plenty of parking spots in front of the small strip of stores as well as a few across the street.

Decent subs, okay pizza. It’s always busy so they’re doing something right. We prefer the pizza and other choices at Crow Point but the other night someone brought over a couple of pizzas from Sub Galley and we enjoyed them. It’s a very small place with only a handful of seats facing the street. It’s primarily a take-out business for when those big hunger pangs strike and nothing but sub-shop fare will do the trick. We’ve had the occasional sub from here and found them tasty. Make sure to ask for the bread to be toasted on those subs.
