The mother-in-law put together a monster baby shower bash for wifey, and after I had a few pints with another stranded husband of an honored guest, I knew a bouquet of gorj was the right call.
Enter: The Hingham Greenery.
They compiled a most beautiful assortment in less than 10 minutes that dazzled with appropriate aplomb for the dough shelled ($ 60 got 8 blooms and filler). A bit pricey as compared to other florists, but the quality was stellar, and what price can you put on the grateful tears on your in-laws?
Mastercard knows the answer. (Spoiler: it’s priceless, yo.)

Ordered a beautiful arrangement for my mom online today! It arrived; however, it was not in the colors that I had wanted. I called to address this issue with Hingham Greenery and instead of coming up against any resistance the woman I spoke with was understanding, very kind, and offered to replace the arrangement at no cost. It is a rare thing nowadays to have a business accept responsibility for an error and to stick to the credo «the customer is always right.» I appreciated their honesty and kindness.
Additionally, the prices are good, the flowers are fresh and of high quality, and they offer same day delivery (hand delivered)! I would recommend this to any of my friends trying to send flowers to loved ones in the South Shore area!

Tried calling to get a quote– man was extremely rude and will only discuss options in person, not over the phone. Unfortunately I do not live in the area but will be getting married there. Many other places came highly recommended who are MORE than willing to work with you over the phone, and then set up a time to meet! I would rather have someone willing to take the time to have a phone conversation rather than not give you the time of day. Horrible service.

Hingham has a surprising number of flower shops but this is my favorite. For nostalgia’s sake, this is the place that did the gorgeous flowers for our wedding many moons ago. Since then a Winston’s florist has opened up right around the corner. Of course, we all know what a beautiful job Winston’s does and I’m not here to disparage them at all. However I think the Hingham Greenery does just as good a job, for less money and it’s a local one of kind shop. I love the personalized service. The owner is a local who also owns The Snug around the corner. She is someone committed to the town. For all your flower needs I highly recommend checking out this place.
